    Cisco Valet Routers were unveiled on March 30th, 2010. The focus of this series is to simplify the installation and configuration of a typical wireless home network by including a USB setup key with a step-by-step easy setup wizard. Plug in the USB key on any computers you want to connect the the network and follow the easy wizard. This works on PC and MAC computers. Even if you lost the USB key, you will be able to create a new USB key with any USB flash drive. The other important feature of this router is the higher standard safe surfing and parental controls. It allows parent to set Duration Access Controls, Specific Domain Blocking and Child / Teen Website Filtering.

setup was easy, but the router web connection doesn't stay on continously. the 'Web' indicator goes down very often, though the internet connection from the Modem is fine. And also observed that the range was very bad this morning. I had to sit in the same room as the router, as I was not able to connect from the bedroom which is just 2 meters away from the router. Planning to return it.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I've had two other routers in my older house and hated them both. It has worked flawlessly and setup couldn't have been easier. To save on wear and tear I have mine set to hibernate after an hour of inactivity. I click on the box that pops up and it turns itself on just fine. Great router.

Working well so far (about 2 months). I don't have a Wireless N device to test the 300 Mb/s transfer rate. But it's nice to be able to finally connect to the computer on the other end through Gig-E instead of the old 100/T. Something new did develop: I am getting a lot more non-responsive click-throughs. When I click on links that normally takes me to places I've been to many times, I am getting a lot more and regular cases of the browser hanging, or site not found. Usually if I reset the browser and try clicking on the same buttons again, it gets through. I had a lot fewer of these incidents with my old router.

We love this router. Setup is easy and painless on practically any system (MAC, Windows XP, Vista, 7). It has great range too, easily reaching 250 feet. If you want a router that is easy to setup, get this. Haven't had any problem in terms of usage either.

I really like this router. Easy to set up, virtually no work on my part. USB key is a nice option to use for the client part. Have not had a single problem with the router dropping connection. Great Value as compared to other sellers
