Didn't know what to expect with "open box" but camera looks brand new. Comes with a brand new earbud/mic headset too. Didn't need to install drivers with windoze xp, when I plugged it in windoze recognized it and installed the needed drivers for the camera and usb mic. Ran Skype tests and it worked a-ok. Video is acceptable and microphone worked good. I didn't test out the headset but it's probably ok.

First one Meritline sent me was DOA, however called their support and they were graceful enough to send me another one without any cost to me. Shout out to Meritline for that. As for the camera itself, out of the box, the camera will be "laggy" or stuttery, skipping a lot of frames in your movements captures. However, I downloaded the official software from logitech and went through the setting and turn off "rightlight," and that solved all the problems. Now no stutter using skype, and love the price.

Pretty decent camera for the price. The "focusing ring" is kind of annoying, and I'm not sure why it couldn't just autofocus, but it works! Also works on my Mac. Feels like cheap plastic, but then again, you're paying almost NOTHING for it!

This is one of the easiest cameras to install and with the downloaded software from Logitech it has a very high quality picture and the best mic quality I have seen.

I don't believe this refurbished item came as like a brand new and works very amazing. All I have to do is, download a software and it, ready to use it for my g-talk. Thank you so much for getting this item with that price.

The webcam wors great with Skype. Don't know what the on/off switch does since Skype turns it on automatically.

Got them last week. Good part is it light weight, fits perfect on my laptop and also on my flat screen TV. My Skype callers said, video is clear. Not coming with Built-in MIC instead the headset has the MIC. Though that disappointed me when I opened the box, felt happy as headset came with good length wire and used that just as my MIC hooking to my shirt. If no more review from me means its still working great..

Arrived in fully functioning order with no software (which I was made aware of before ordering, so no fault of Meritline's...the download link worked, so that was fine). The camera quality is surprisingly good, considering the price paid. Shipping was fast (as usual) and I could not be happier with the product.

Typical low end camera. Works reliably and without computability issues on my Win 7 64bit system. Relatively poor image quality but that's about what I expected given the low price.

I purchased this camera to replace a very low quality one I used previously. My order was filled promptly and arrived undamaged and well packed. The camera installed (Win Vista Home) automatically and worked well for the Skype test. The quality is good (not broadcast quality) and perfectly acceptable for video phone calls. I use my system speakers and a headset boom mic so I have not tried the on-cord mic or ear bud which came with the camera. All in all I feel I have received value for money.

This is a great deal for a camera that just gets the job done without being fancy. The built-in mic is just what I wanted, too, so I wouldn't have to have a mic on my desk or wear a headset when Skyping. Just get this already.

When I recieved the webcam I was wondering why the usb didn't fit my computer, it was because there was a half broken usb plug inside of it. I took a knive and pulled it out and it now works fine. Not as clear as I would like it but it works

Great Product, no hassle to set it up. Worked fine on Windows 7 and Vista. Could not believe that this inexpensive camera can be set up as a motion activated device with the Logitech software I downloaded.

Quick and simple setup. Camera came in a very small, cost efficient box. Did not look or work "refurbished". Great, Cheap camera. might get another one for the other computer.

The Logitech C160 works fine for us on Skype. This is not a high end camera, but works great. We are running Windows XP, and did not load any of the Logitech software. Windows installed the required driver without any effort on our part. It may work better with the Logitech software; some day we may try. But for now, we are fully satisfied. Our unit displayed some very slight scratches when inspected closely. But no one else will ever notice this.
