Description & Specs

Logitech K400 Wireless Touch Keyboard with Built-In Multi-Touch Touchpad Refurbished

    Manufacturer Part # 920-003070

    From Manufacturer

With a 10-meter wireless range*, built-in multi-touch touchpad and plug-and-play setup, this keyboard delivers lean-back wireless control for your laptop—even when you’re connecting it to your TV.

    10-meter (33 feet) wireless range*

You can turn up the volume of a YouTube™ video, pause your vacation slideshow or tweet about the movie you just downloaded—all without getting up from the couch.

    Large 3.5-inch, built-in touchpad

A large 3.5-inch, built-in touchpad makes vertical scrolling intuitive. And multi-touch navigation makes it easier than ever to point and scroll your way through the Web.

    Plug-and-play simplicity

Setup couldn’t be easier—you simply plug the tiny wireless receiver into a USB port and enjoy. Even the hot keys work right out of the box without software.

    Logitech Unifying receiver

The tiny receiver stays in your laptop. Plus, you can easily add a compatible wireless mouse, keyboard or number pad—without the hassle of multiple USB receivers.

    Comfortable, quiet typing

Whether you’re surfing the Web or e-mailing a friend, typing is just plain easy with sleek, low-profile keys that feel good and barely make a sound.

    12-month battery life

You can go a full year doing the things you love without battery hassles.** An on/off switch helps you save power when you’re not using the keyboard.

    Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless

So you can work or play in more places—like your comfy couch—the long-range wireless connection virtually eliminates delays, dropouts and interference.

    128-bit AES encryption

It helps protect your information by encrypting data transfer between the keyboard and receiver with one of the highest levels of data encryption available.

    Easy-to-read keys

The bold, bright white characters make the keys easier to read in your living room.

    Sleek and compact design

It saves space without compromising on comfort—and looks good, too, thanks to the clean lines and a touch of color and pattern on the touchpad.

    Media hot keys

Mute, volume up, volume down and a Home button help you do the things you do most—instantly.

    Vertical storage

The keyboard stands vertically for easy storage when living room space is limited.

This "refurbished" unit is defective. Mouse movement is erratic. Key strokes are not registered in about one out of every ten presses. For a marginal extra five dollars I could have purchased this item NEW. I'm sitting at about eight feet away from the usb dongle.

This keyboard is perfect for a Home Theather PC. Has good range to work well away from the TV set and the keys are the same size as a regular keyboard but the touchpad is the best part of the item. I functions great for point and click and the two finger scroll works great on webpages. I have tried several different small keyboards with trackballs and mouse thumb controls but never found the right match until I tried this item. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to control their PC/HTPC from across the room and have all the control you need for easy navigation and entering text content when needed. Great price as well and the wireless range is right up there with bluetooth without the pairing hassles!

This item is a steal! Seriously, I think Meritline stole these keyboards and are selling them for pennies on the dollar. Just checked Amazon to see their price and Meritline has the best price, hands down! I was a little hesitant buying this keyboard, because I hate touchpads. I have not found a touchpad that works decently, until now. The touchpad is incredibly smooth when scrolling and it feels nice to the touch. I just wish my laptops could have the same quality touchpad. This keyboard is well worth the money. I'm highly considering buying a second one. I just need permission from the wife...

very good small keyboard with track pad. i use it with my home theater system. i have a PC with an HDMI output to my system. i play movies/netflix ... through the computer and this keyboard allows me to lounge on the couch and control the computer. great range, i'm about 10 feet from my PC and have yet to have an issue with typing or using the touchpad. about the only thing i miss from a traditional mouse is the scroll button. but other than that, it's a great little keyboard.

Great! These guys know how to make a great keyboard. The USB dongle hides away in the battery compartment, pop in two AA batteries, plug in the dongle, switch on the keyboard and start typing. The built in mouse pad has a nice feel and responds well, not overly sensitive but just right. I've been using rechargeable NiMH cells and the battery life seems to be very long, even though I forget to turn the board off. Pretty sure alkaline cells would power this a very long time. I love this keyboard/touch pad. It is smaller than a normal desktop, more in line with a laptop keyboard

My keyboard arrived not paired to the dongle. This means it appeared not to work at all. The dongle installed itself just fine on Windows 7, however, there was no response from the keyboard. As there was no manual included, I searched Logitech's site for the k400 keyboard and found they have a "Unifying Software" that allows you to pair up to 6 Logitech devises with the one dongle. That software allowed me to pair the keyboard and now it works fine. They also have software called "SetPoint" that allows you to configure how your keyboard functions.

I bought this to use with a set-top Android device - the Tronsmart Prometheus which I bought from Meritline. I sent the first keyboard back (at my expense) because I thought it wasn't working. It turns out that you have to plug the usb receiver in to a computer and install the drivers so it can be "paired" before you plug it into a non-PC device. I used a Windows PC (I don't know if it works that way on a Mac). Once I did that, it worked on the Prometheus too so now I can surf the web and play angry birds on my TV from the couch. It has locked up a couple of times and I just have to unplug the usb dongle and plug it back in.
