Six years now, and the side buttons are starting to get a little sticky. But I've been using it for six years! Great mouse, takes a little getting used to if you've only used standard mouses. But once you've gotten accustomed to it, you'll never go back. Great mouse.

The Logitech Trackman Marble Trackball is the best, most efficient pointing device I have ever used. This is the only pointing device I have used for years on both my PC and Macs. These last a long time, and since they are optical, they don't require a lot of cleaning (just a little every once and a while). The buttons do eventually give out, but these units are amazingly durable. I use the Logitech Marble Trackball for video editing because they allow me to move the cursor quickly around the screen with just a little finger movement. It is not like a mouse where you have to pick up the whole device to move it; only the ball moves. Now, when I have to use a computer with a mouse, I feel how inefficient it is. I'll never go back to the old way.
