    Meritline was very prompt in resolving my issue. I contacted the returns department and am very satisfied with the way they chose to resolve my problem.

    I just received 2 of these lights and neither one worked. I tried 2 different packages of brand new batteries and still no luck. I've contacted the return department since I shouldn't have to pay to return something that's clearly defective.

    Just received the light and guess what; DOA! The batteries I installed were brand new so I know it's the light. Since I only paid $5.99 and Meritline won't refund return shipping costs I'm stuck with a non-functioning light which will just go in the garbage. BEWARE: cheap means CHEAP!

    Handy little light...what more can you ask? And with the cool shape, if you suspend it with wire, you can pretend it is a spaceship, coming to beam you up! Ha!

    The light isn't quite as bright as I had hoped, but it does provide enough light to illuminate the a small tent. The battery compartments are horrible though, it is nearly impossible to get batteries out once they are in. Also it is very picky about what batteries can fit, and even the ones that fit don't always make contact with the positive terminal. The clip is handy to hang the light from the top of the tent and easy to take on and off the light. I wouldn't recommend this if you plan on using it a lot, however for the occasional camping trip it is a decent buy.

    Excellent light. Awesome functions. Hung it from the top beam of my tent and it was perfect light at night.

    Plenty bright . . . in fact, hugely bright for the money. The switching for 8, 16 or 24 LEDs is a nice feature and the switch works fine on the three I bought. Seems a fine purchase, though don't get excited about either the clip or the magnetic plate, and know that the magnet is molded into the light, which prevents being able to mount it flush on a wall or ceiling.

    This light is amazing. It not only is very solid but lasts forever and the amount of light that comes from it is great. My daughter and I did some lava tubes up in Flagstaff and we could see every part of the tubes that we were walking through. Everyone who passed by kept saying they needed one of them too because their lights just were not doing that great of a job. Funny thing is I only had it on the second highest setting even.

    The two lighting modes, used separately or together, are a big plus. I put a set of long-storage-life lithium AA cells in it and gave it to my daughter's grandparents-in-law. Having survived the last hurricane in Galveston, they say this will be potentially a greatly useful device.

    The magnet was missing from the 'magnetic plate' and the little stand is super cheap-- I doubt it would actually hold the light up in a tent where the ground is likely uneven. Other than that the light is pretty solid & very bright!
