This adapter did not work for me. It also didn't work for a friend. After I connected my cable box to the TV, the picture came on for couple of seconds, then flickered, and then went away.

Does NOT support HDCP Like the other reviewer, I bought this to use it on a display that has a DVI port with HDCP support, connected to PS3. This adapter does not work with PS3 - the display is just blank. When connected to a DVD player, this adapter works - probably because there is no need for HDCP. Do not buy if you need HDCP. Meritline should indicate it in the product description.

My new Desktop computer had a HDMI and a standard analog output. This device allowed me to hookup 2 monitors to my computer with ease. The price is excellent as well. The adaptor is well made and I am very happy with the purchase.
