Out of a cake of 50 I had only one casualty, which was a result of my computer freezing. This the best dual layer I have ever worked with. I have used the older version of Memorex and Playo. Playo was terrible, half way through the burning process it would freeze up. At least half the discs of the older Memorex version would work. Given a single casualty that was not the fault of the disc, I will definitely purchase this product again.

DigDawg - 8/28/2009 Media Identification code is RITEK-S04-66. I understand these RITEK Dual Layer disk are not considered to be the best quality like Verbatim equivalent is heralded to be. My first burn at 4x on an NEC ND-3540a 1.04 seems to be just fine.

I have found these Dual Layer DVD's to be poor quality. I have less than 30% success rate using this media. The error typically occurs when trying to finalize the disc. Compared to Verbatim Dual Layer Media, in which the success rate was over 85%

Well lets just say every other dvd+r dl is defect. It comes up with an error right when you put it in. Very disappointed.

Outstanding quality. This is one of the best prices you will find for DL DVDs. They burn fast also. I will be ordering more soon.

these dvds did not work. I tried burning movies to them and they would not take the data. after doing some research I found this is a common problem with memorex discs...

I have only used about 8 of the DVDs, but they have all worked perfectly and so far I am very pleased! Excellent value for the money! I would definitely buy them again.
