I thought it was just me with the lines not being straight. I finally took a tape measure and a level to several sheets, and lo and behold, they were off my several mm. Have found another company that makes high-quality glossy DVD case inserts, and while a little bit more expensive, I don't waste a single sheet of paper (unlike with these where I have to print at least 3 sheets to get the product to line up correctly).

The last pack of these were not the same I had been getting. Meritline is getting much more unreliable in their quality of their products. The best thing to do with these labels is to ignore the perforations and use a cheap paper cutter from your local dept. store to cut out your label and it will look good. I have been doing this for a while and mine look great.

Although the inserts are photo quality paper and printed beautifully, the perforation along the edges was not deep enough. It was very difficult to neatly remove the edges cleanly.

To use the technical term, these inserts stink. The perf do not snap, they do not even tear. Had to cut with scissors. I will not be using them again. Back to the matte finish, the ends don't separate well but the sides do. I just started folding the ends over and leaving them intact.
