Meritline.com Verified Buyer Works with windows/mac/linux - has drivers/utils on the included disk for all three. Compact and fast. My Mac's wifi died but this was a good, quick replacement. I can also keep it in my fixit box for other computers. (I have Snow Leopard on the Mac, I haven't tested with anything else).

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Chipset is Realtek 8188CU. Installed mine on a XP machine using Windows (New Hardware Wizard) instead of the Realtek WLAN Setup program on the CD. I get consistent 120 Mbps connections, sometimes 150, at my house. There are drivers for Linux, Mac, Win7-32/64, Vista-32/64, XP and 2000 on the driver disc. Should work on almost anything. There are no instructions, not that you really need any. A great value when they discount it from the usual sale price.

Instructions inadequate (and actually wrong). Chipset never mentioned, and there are many drivers and control programs on the CD. Got it working at about 1/10 full speed. I'm going to keep it for an emergency but probably won't use it again.
