Description & Specs

RangeMate Microwave Oven Cooker with Cook Book, Muffin Plate and Steam Pan, using Infrared Heating, User Manual Available Online for Download

Rangemate is a new revolutionary cooker designed for busy people or people who are not skillful in cooking. The Rrangemate cooker is used in microwave ovens to boil, grill, steam, stir-fry and cook rice. The cooker can make all types of simple and delicious food with no direct fire which is ideal for seniors and children. Cleaning is also easy simple.

    Special features of Rangemate

  • Food will be not crumbly dried after cooked.
  • Provides fast roasting time. (about 4~5 minutes)
  • Food with shells such as eggs can be cooked without bursting.
  • Can cook frozen food without dryness even if the food is not thawed.
  • Cooking comparison

(Conventional Microwave oven VS. Rangemate Infrared Energy)

Comventional cookers for microwave ovens are made of plastic, glass and ceramic which use electromagnetic wave to cook while Rangemate uses electromagnetic wave heat that is converted into infrared energy.

Heating principle of conventional microwave oven cooker

Conventional cookers for microwave ovens cook food by electromagnetic wave. This causes the moisture in the food to evaporate and inevitably leads to dryness and loss of flavor.

    Heating principle of Rangemate

When cooking, Rangemate prevents direct electromagnetic wave penetration through the use of its own lid and pan technology. Rangemate utilizes infrared energy which provides high temperatures to the heating plate resulting in moist and flavorful food.

Far infrared ray Rangemate shuts out the electromagnetic wave to be transmitted to food and cooks it by far infrared ray.

I bought this to use at work. I have only used it to steam frozen vegatables but I have found it to be great. The bowl shields the food from the microwaves so the food cooks only from the steam. The vegatables come out crisp and flavorable. The food may take a little longer to cook in this bowl but the food it so much better its worth the wait.

I've had this about two months. It cooks very well. It takes a little longer than advertised to cook anything in my microwave

I purchased this item from Meritline in the past couple of weeks; the review form would not accept my order number. You will have to experiment to find out how to use this; the snappy looking guide book shown in the picture in reality is a crude, stapled set of a half dozen pages that provides no meaningful information. Well constructed item that seems to be very useful. Meritline knocked another 10 percent off the price I paid before I even received it. Very good product, poorly documented, lousy customer relations.

This is a great product. Some reviews tell how slow it is to heat up but I have a way around this. If you a fortunate enough to have a 180 degree water tap on your sink, you can fill the bottom of this container with already hot water. It will now take less than a minute to steam your vegies. How great is that!

It works very well for lots of things. Does an excellent job of steaming vegetables. Also, you can pour pancake dough in the muffin pans and it cooks them perfectly and quickly. The nonstick surface is a very easy to clean surface. The challenge to using it to cook is that the pan surface gets very hot. I usually set the microwave to about 40% power when cooking with it. That way it doesn't burn the surface of the food.
