The laser pointer worked great...for about a day. It was very bright and green, which was cool! It comes in a neat little case, which I kept it in. The next day I got it out, and somehow the thing stopped working right. The beam was now incredibly dim. I tried changing the batteries, but it ended up that the lens or something must've gotten out of place. I barely moved this thing from my desk at all, never dropped it, and still, the construction was poor enough that it was able to stop working after one day of almost no use.

A very nice laser, with good strength without being a risk to balloons or paper. Used as a pointer for astronomy, and in class to draw attention to the board, this laser is amazing!

Delivery time is too long. Had to wait 19 days to receive the item. Item was as described. Laser pointer is so powerful but it need to warm up to illuminate yes that's right it need to warm up. illuminates a larger dot than a regular laser pointer

This laser pointer is of the lowest standards of build quality. The pointer I received flickers from bright light to a dark light and Meritline's customer service is less than par. I have purchased from this company in the past but I'm getting tiered of their "dollar store" quality goods.

I was really surprised at the quality of this green laser. It's really awesome pointing up at the stars and constellations or simply the mountains across the neighborhood.

very inconsistant, slowly gets brighter and dimmer. Tried changing batteries, alkaline, NiMH and lithium all with the same result.

got the laser and it started out a bit dimmer than another 5mw unit I have. After about 10 minutes of intermittent use over 2 days it suddenly dimmed to about 1/10 in output. Changed batteries, same thing, its dead.

PS- for all those guys that are having problems after the first day of use. It happend to me. I wasn't putting it in the box properly. When I would close the box lid, it would hold down the "on" button. So - yea, if you leave the laser on over night in it's box, it's going to suck the next day.

AWSOME high powered green laswer. I've ordered green laswers from a few supplyers. This is a very well built one equal in build an quialty to one I purchased for twice as much last year from a different vender. It's brite- solid- and puts a 5mW green laser to shame. I already ordered a few more just because i've heard the the FDA is starting to limit the sale of lasers that are greater then 5mW. The ONLY draw back is the black coating on the outside of the laser houseing (the black paint basically) it wears off fairly easily. The one I bought last year has most of the black paint gone and the solid brass casing is exposed. Looks like hell but sitll functions well. Great product. Now when will you guys start selling the blue lasers pointers for cheap?

Took at 3 days shy of a month to deliver. Worked great first time used. Set down in case, Used an hour later....Much poorer quality. No Batteries were included. Also seems something may be messed up in the battery compartment. Seems that the batteries move around to much, resulting in poor beam quality and even total usage.

Works great, built well, solid. Included AAA batteries didn't last long, put in good alkaline.

The thing worked great the first day I had it. I put it back in the case, set it back on my desk, and the next day the lens was screwed up. It was severely dimmer and was no longer a focused beam, but spread over distance. The best thing I got out of it was the 2 AAA batteries that were included. I can't imagine such delicate construction where it can't even survive in it's own case, let alone being carried around in my pocket.

Its same laser for 1/5 the price as sold on other places, works perfect, and delivered pretty quick too.

Superb value for the money. The beam itself may actually be seen in the air in the dark as it reflects off of motes in the air. Excellent for presentations. NOT A TOY!

You can see the actual laser beam very well the first day you put in batteries, but after it become just like an other laser pointer, with only the dot visible
