Its too small and not that sturdy. the plastic falls off the aluminum.

Better than expected! It is designed to clip over your netbook so they can both fit in a bag. It includes two stick-on pads that you can place on the stand if you're worried that it might scratch your netbook, but I found no rough edges. The one down side: all the photos on the website show a silver stand and in the description the color is listed as, "silver." However, the insert with the product shows that it is available in three colors, silver, red, and dark blue. My Dell Mini 9 has a red lid, so either the silver or red would have looked great. Unfortunately, I received the dark blue model, but as it is completely concealed beneath the netbook, I guess it doesn't matter. There is no way to select the color when ordering, however there is a place for "special instructions," so you might try to request a specific color there. The width is about 1cm less than the width of the Dell mini 9.
