Do NOT buy this. It only worked for first couple of weeks. Then the light started working erratically. A week later it totally stopped working. Finally when I called Meritline customer service, they asked to return it at my on shipping cost. I don't expect myself to pay $6 return shipping when the item is only $4. I threw it away. Lesson learned.

The one I bought was dead on arrival. Also, for the curious, it has a rechargeable LIR-CR2032 battery inside, connected by a diode straight to a tiny solar cell.

After having several of these for a while, I can say they are ok for occasional use (key chain) but do not hold much of a charge 1-2 min. and then need recharging. On the one I used most, bulbs started going out after flickering for a while. So quality is not so good.

This product is very poorly made. I bought this item twice. The first one worked when I tested it, the next day it stopped working. The second one I got doesn't work at all even after a few days of under the sun. This is one of the few meritline.com product I bought that malfunction when arrived. Stay away, don't waste your money on this poorly made product!!!

Junk! At first I couldn't get it to turn on. After trying a few times, the light came on in a blinking mode and will not turn off. I've tried letting it die down and recharging it, but no luck. Only paid .88 cents but can you imagine if Meritline has a thousand broken lights sold at .88 cents each, it all adds up! Its not worth the postage and time to return it. I don't think I will be buying any cheap Chinese crap from Meritline again!

i was skeptic about these because they are cheap. it turns out they are very bright and look and feel exactly like in the picture
