I really liked this the minute I received it - that lasted for a day when the plastic threads snapped off in my camera. Great design - great idea - poor material. I Cannot recommend...

While not a bad idea, this tripod is made of cheap plastic. Well, if you tighten it just a wee bit too much, SNAP! The screw will break and you are left with a useless bunch of scraps. If they only made it a little better, it would be a much nicer item and worth buying. As it is, you need to be VERY CAREFUL not to over-tighten if you want this to last.

From the pictures it looked like metal, but it's all plastic. I also thought it would be larger, but it is about 4 inches long folded up. Still should work good, but obviously not for anything too heavy.

Very good travel size tripod. Too bad the screw is not metal.

Compact and good price. This is meant for a very light camera / camcorder. It is super delicate. I used it for a few times but on first try by my wife it broke off from where the knob is connected to the pods. I see same complain by others so would conclude material is not right. Beware to buy and use it at your own risk.

Totally useless. This tripod can barely hold a point-and-shoot camera, and is too big to carry with. Position of legs cannot be adjust which means it can only work on flat surface. Go buy those mini tripods of reflex metal legs and forget this.

Very good! I use it for my handheld camera to video my tennis. I had a flexible mini-tripod, but it wasn't NEARLY as stable as this little guy! It sits at the base of the net looking back at me and is always out of the way.

Nice fancy design which allows it to fold down to minimum size. Yet, the foot print is small and operation/ajustment is not easy. Not particularly useful.
