    Shopping for a reliable, high-quality mount for your mobile device? This one installs directly into your CD player slot or in between the grooves of your dash. PATENT PENDING DESIGN. It uses NO SUCTION CUPS, NO CLIPS, NO SCREWS, and it requires NO TOOLS. Best part, it won't obstruct your view of the road. FAQs: My charge port is located on the side of my phone. Will this allow for me to charge it at the same time? Absolutely. Simply detach the support bar located at the bottom of the cradle, and you can easily mount your phone with the charge port exposed. Will the blade activate the CD's auto loader? Although all CD players are made differently, the plastic blade does not reach far enough to activate a CD player's auto loading function. If my CD player has a rubber/cloth dust guard, will the mount damage it? The max depth the nGroove blade can reach is 16mm or .63". If the depth of your dust guard is shorter than this, then the plastic blade might cause it to appear warped or wrinkled. I have an extended battery which requires a larger case. Will it fit? The MT5000 was not designed for devices thicker than .70", but you still might be able to mount your phone without its case. NOTE: You must completely loosen the blade's tightening wheel BEFORE uninstalling the mount. Compatible with the new iPhone 3GS/4/4S/5, HTC Thunderbolt, HTC Evo 3D, HTC Inspire, HTC myTouch, Nexus One, Samsung Galaxy S Series, LG Revolution, Motorola Droid Bionic, Atrix, & More! This piece of gear is great! On the three cars I've used it with the bracket tightens up nice and snug. Very little vibration. I have a hefty HTC EVO in an Otterbox Commuter case and this mount holds it tightly.

Very stable and hold my Nexus 4 with case with no problem. The only side effect is that it will permanently ply open the soft plastic that is normally preventing dust from going inside the CD player, so it will leave a big opening when you un-mount this. Not a deal breaker but something to be aware.

I've used a couple of these for two months and find they are great. I found I could work the wedge mechanism into thin gaps in my dashboard above my radio/CD units. In that position, the CD slot is available again, but more importantly, I could position the unit so that it did not obstruct the view of the radio controls and display. It works fine in the CD slot, but realize you may have other options as well. Highly recommended.

OMG!!! I hardly ever write a review but almost as soon as I saw and installed the mount, I loved it. It fits in the CD player and when the key is turned it is snug, it will bounce a tiny bit only because there is nothing (at least in my car) supporting it from behind. But its solid. I tried both positions (key on top and bottom), I was more comfortable with it key up. It does block the radio's display but if your stations are already set, really no need to see it. And with key up it sits below the windshield, so **no one** can see what you're watching. Holds both my Samsung GS2 and iPod Touch 4G. The bottom plate is detachable to allow for power cord attachment, the sides hold firm. Came with 2 smaller cushions, but no instructions as to what they are for. I think my only gripe is that the release button is too far down behind the device and a little hard to distinguish from the mount itself. The top is rounded, maybe an offset square button. Or a side release. Don't pause get it.

This works excellent for people with old CD changers in their cars that they don't use anymore. It fits snug and tight without any wobble. The clamp mechanism to hold is excellent to holding the phone in. I like the foam edge to give the snugness but yet allow you to take the phone out without having to release the clamp. The only minor issue I have is that the knob that you use to tighten may stick out a little and block either the radio/cd changer screen or the buttons. Again very minor issue that can be overlooked with how well it works. Can't wait for the next meritline sale for these. I'll be picking up a couple more

This arrived last week and I'm very happy with it. I rarely use my CD slot and now it has a purpose! iPhone 5 in a case is held securely and in a perfect place in the car for the GPS function. It beats the suction cup variety of mounts hands down. No more worry about bright sun or freezing temperature disrupting the suction cup. I rarely write reviews but this is worth it. I did manage to get it for $16.99 here so watch the newsletter coupon codes.

A nice little accessory. Plastic is of good quality for this type of accessory. The onlt thing I would caution is that it blocks some of my buttons on my dash a bit. But otherwise very happy with it.

This is truly a 5 star product, I'm surprised how sturdy this is and how well it's built for what it costs, Samsung note 2 fits perfectly, even the nexus 7 fits inside of this thing, you won't regret a single penny spent on this thing!

This works great in '06 Focus with the 6 cd changer. Pros: 1. Spring loaded open with press of a button 2. Cushions on side grips 3. Support bracket on bottom has hole which allows me to keep my phone plugged to power via micro-usb connector 4. Can rotate 90° for landscape view (good when in gps mode). It has a ball and socket adjustment for angle (pan, tilt, rotate) and it was strong enough with my 4.5" smart phone to hold it horizontally hitting typical bumps, cracks, and potholes. Cons: -none yet. I've just had it 1 day.

I read about this in a BMW forum. It works great in my 2011 BMW 535i. The only slight issue is that the knob hides on of the memory buttons and makes two of the other buttons a little sticky. But having it right in the center of the dash is a real plus.
