Wow, they truncated my review >:(. Brief: PROS: has bass, BETTER MIC THAN MANY HEADSETS, ok cord length CONS: mic only usable from left; high end a little weak but ok; foam pads very thin TRADEOFFS: eaphone sound Quality over loud volume EXPERIENCE: professional/personal use with phone adapter;some PC use, a few days intense use. Meritline, stop char limiting/truncating your reviewers!! I had more 2 say (mostly good).

Full disclosure: I primarily use this with a phone headset adapter. It takes the two 3.5mm mic and headphone plugs and turns them into one 2.5mm connector to fit into a cordless or cell phone. The adapter introduces some impedance issues on my cordless phone which don't affect my cellphone, mainly things are too soft when I use that adapter, and still too loud on my (loud) cellphone which I can never get quiet enough. I was looking for a headset which had a volume control because the lowest volume level is usually too loud for me on most headsets (I have good/sensitive hearing). I've been using this headset intensely for professional and personal phone use (again, with an adapter) for the past few days with good results. I did an A/B of the mic with a friend on the phone, who preferred this mic to another computer headset which came included with a webcam, my current favorite phone headset (a cheapo panasonic which has surprisingly good sound), and over the (pretty good qualit

Update from my previous review on 4/20/2010. A number of months ago people listening to me thru this headset started saying my voice didn't sound right. Basically, the mic went, and the item is now useless. I did use the item more than most people probably would in about the 6-month timespan it worked, but I didn't use it 'hard'. In retrospect, I would recommend this item only if you plan on EXTREMELY LIGHT USE, bordering on none, and that if you found yourself with a broken headset, that it wouldn't be a big deal for you. Or have it as a backup for a better one, maybe. It is cheaply made, but I liked it OK when it worked. In my retrospective opinion, this is not an acceptable item for someone who needs to use it regularly.
