Meritline.com Verified Buyer From one evening of playing with it, I’m really happy with it so far. It’s far superior to TVersity for my needs. For one thing, TVersity only worked for about 1/2 of my videos, and this device worked for everything I tried it on. That was most important, but it also has a lot of advantages that no DLNA/UPnP system can match, including FF/Rewind and Commercial skip/replay. And there are a host of things that the combination of TVersity/DirecTV HR24 couldn’t do: pause (!), zoom, slo-mo, A/B repeat. The quality of the output is stutter-free 1080p, even from H.264-encoded files. It seems that a 10Mbps connection is plenty for this. On the other hand, it can’t handle Internet streamed media (YouTube, etc.) at all. Some other competitors to my Prodigi can do this, but then, none of them (that I can find) are able to read media via SMB.

Meritline.com Verified Buyer Fantastic device! Does EVERYTHING it claims. Good interface, small and high quality. Up-sampling is sharp and the 1080P output works great. External hard drive support is good. Con: Can't use two of these and view files on a USB attached Hard drive throug another PD-100N NAS. NAS function is PC interface only.

Very easy to use it, just connect with TV, and thats it. quality is good. Finally i could watch movie on my 42" TV. not just 15"notebook. Its small and light, ya, cuz its plastic. but enough for me. over all im happy with it.
