FAQ of Digital TV and Antenna:

1. Q:what antenna is required?
A: You can use any antenna to connect to HDTV, like regular indoor UHF/VHF Rabbit ear antenna. But this A20 antenna is rather good. You may pickup more channels.

2. Q:How to capture more digital channels with strong signals?
A: It is all about Direction and location. Test it by placing the antenna in different places around your TV; Pointing antenna to different direction to test the receiption and for sure you will get better signals when you place the antenna near the window or the wall.

3. Q:Is Amplifier antenna better than those without amplifier?
A: Not really. amplifiers can be very helpful, but they can also degrade the ability to tune a signal if they overload the tuner on your TV.

4. Q:I just bought a new LCD TV. Can I watch Free OTA HD channels with this antennna?
A: Yes. You just need an antenna.

5. Q:I have an old TV. How can I watch Free OTA digital TV channels?
A: You need two items: A DTV Converter Box and the antenna. Apply the DTV coupon online at https://www.dtv2009.gov/ApplyCoupon.aspx.

6. Q: How many Over the Air HD channels in my area?
A: Go to antennaweb.org and input your address. You will see all the digital and alanog channnels available in your area.

Everything cam quickly - unfortunately the antennae doesn't pick up much. [didn't even get 2/3 of the local channels] Had to go out and buy a different one and then received more channels.

This surprisingly small antenna is big on reception. The only thing that is not perfect on it is the suction cup base. A Better suction cup would make this an over the top product. I use the antenna and converter box with my DVD player in my van. The small size of the antenna is a real plus for storage.

Eh.. it works about as good as a coat hanger stuck in the antenna socket would. Its only a dipole. You cant expect a antenna of this size and lackluster quality to do much if you live outside the metro areas.

The antenna, when fully extended, is only a few inches high but it pulls in all of the stations from 60 miles away. I'm using it in a rural area on the 2nd floor of a 2-story house, and it performs VERY WELL!

The equipment I ordered came to my home promptly and as ordered. The free antenna is a little cheesy, but seems to work ok.

Way to small to be usefull. Old set of rabbit ears works much better.

The only tv station we receive is the one that is 1 block away.

Overall happy with the converter box. I like the ease of use and the on-screen guide. The remote is not labeled though?? and the directions on the screen would say to hit a button on the remote (specific color) that wasnt even on the remote?? But it wasnt rocket science to figure it out. Picture was just as clear as our other tv with built-in Digital tuner. The free antenna worked ok, very small (about 4 inches not counting extended antenna...which then only made it maybe 12 inches total....) but hey, not bad for free! and it works pretty good in my daughters room upstairs. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. The shipping was super quick. I actually have another coupon I need to use and most likely will just buy another of these units. Thanks so much!

Didn't work at all for me. The little analog TV set I needed these items for barely picked up a signal, & when it did, it was never clear & lasted all of 20 seconds. We followed instructions to the letter & I'm very disappointed. I'd return it if it wouldn't cost me any- thing, even though I got it free. I can't get the value of my $40 gov't. coupon back as far as I know either.

Does not catch all the channels like CBS, PBS. Other channels loose signals quite often. I would not suggest this to any one.

This thing is tiny, but don't let the size fool you. I just ordered it because it was free with the converter box, but to my amazement this thing catches more channels than my $40 Terk antenna. And unlike the Terk, since it's tiny you can put right next to the TV without making thing ugly. Highly recommended.

the antenna that was given for free with purchase of the box was a piece of junk. it does not do anything special. the pros about this antenna is that it is compact. it is very tiny, no bigger than a child's palm. so it will be great if you are traveling --- that is IF you can get any signal from this tiny thing. I would only get this product if it is free. I will not even pay 99 cents for it.
