FAQ of Digital TV and Antenna:

1. Q:what antenna is required?
A: You can use any antenna to connect to HDTV, like regular indoor UHF/VHF Rabbit ear antenna. But this A20 antenna is rather good. You may pickup more channels.

2. Q:How to capture more digital channels with strong signals?
A: It is all about Direction and location. Test it by placing the antenna in different places around your TV; Pointing antenna to different direction to test the receiption and for sure you will get better signals when you place the antenna near the window or the wall.

3. Q:Is Amplifier antenna better than those without amplifier?
A: Not really. amplifiers can be very helpful, but they can also degrade the ability to tune a signal if they overload the tuner on your TV.

4. Q:I just bought a new LCD TV. Can I watch Free OTA HD channels with this antennna?
A: Yes. You just need an antenna.

5. Q:I have an old TV. How can I watch Free OTA digital TV channels?
A: You need two items: A DTV Converter Box and the antenna. Apply the DTV coupon online at https://www.dtv2009.gov/ApplyCoupon.aspx.

6. Q: How many Over the Air HD channels in my area?
A: Go to antennaweb.org and input your address. You will see all the digital and alanog channnels available in your area.

Simple - IT DOES NOT WORK. I tried on two hdtv's and was unable to get even one channel. It is a complete waste of money. DO NOT BUY!!!

very small in size but works well enough for a tv next to a window. do not expect any signal increase though.

This thing is tiny! I mean its ridiculously small. I wanted to see if I could get stations in my neighborhood, knowing that the signals are very weak and figured this would be a good way to try. I have a 60" plasma and this on top looks like a fly's antenna! I keep it there now for comic value, since I don't get any channels.

Surprisingly good signal strength from this little unit. Works great on my laptop USB TV and as a backup on my main TV when cable goes down. The suction mount is too stiff and only works on very glossy surface. Minor con for the price.

It's a piece of carp - tossed it in the trash. Didn't pick up half the stations my 15 year old 'bow tie' antenna does.

This small antenna is surprisngly good. As an additional benefit it is easier to place this antenna higher (just below ceilng) where reception is better.

I bought that and found it worked great on one TV (near a window) getting the local stations. I then bought another one for the other analog TV (in basement near interior wall) and am very satisfied with that one too. That saved me leasing two more cable boxes for the TVs I use the least.

so so. Better to get Meritlines artec an-1 or a bowtie antenna from radioshack.

Not that great of an antenna. Wouldn't recommend if you're not close to a window or if the room you want to use it for is in the middle of the house. It is really small though.

Pros: Free (with converter) Cons: Very small, doesn't add much to reception beyond bare cable. Doesn't work in basement.

For a tiny antenna, I was able to pick up HD channels for up to 40 miles away. Great deal.

Absolutely amazing, the results are mind boggling when you consider the size of this antenna. I receive OTA digital and have been using a $65.00 Jensen antenna with a power amplifer and got terrible results many stations I could not get at all. I hooked up this new antenna and to my amazement received many new stations I never knew exhisted. I do not have to move or adjust this antenna at all and all stations come in perfectly sharp and clear. Don't forget to rescan your TV after hooking up the new antenna many new stations may be available.

Surprised at how small this was. But it does a decent job of picking up stations.
