FAQ of Digital TV and Antenna:

1. Q:what antenna is required?
A: You can use any antenna to connect to HDTV, like regular indoor UHF/VHF Rabbit ear antenna. But this A20 antenna is rather good. You may pickup more channels.

2. Q:How to capture more digital channels with strong signals?
A: It is all about Direction and location. Test it by placing the antenna in different places around your TV; Pointing antenna to different direction to test the receiption and for sure you will get better signals when you place the antenna near the window or the wall.

3. Q:Is Amplifier antenna better than those without amplifier?
A: Not really. amplifiers can be very helpful, but they can also degrade the ability to tune a signal if they overload the tuner on your TV.

4. Q:I just bought a new LCD TV. Can I watch Free OTA HD channels with this antennna?
A: Yes. You just need an antenna.

5. Q:I have an old TV. How can I watch Free OTA digital TV channels?
A: You need two items: A DTV Converter Box and the antenna. Apply the DTV coupon online at https://www.dtv2009.gov/ApplyCoupon.aspx.

6. Q: How many Over the Air HD channels in my area?
A: Go to antennaweb.org and input your address. You will see all the digital and alanog channnels available in your area.

Part 1 But the last upper one, try fine tuning it by extending- collapse it (up-down) til you get the a good signal on all channels. You may have to extend more sections.(Just play with it)I am about 15-17 miles from the Transmitters, they are at about 6000 foot Peak and even I get Pixelation if the Rabbit-Ears Antenna it is NOT tuned right. Also, where you place it is a big factor for a digital signal (700 mhz) Do NOT put it by a window the signal will just bonce off it and not get to your antenna. It will go throw Stucco -Drywall fine but not Glass. If you don't want to hassle with tuning,.THEN JUST BUY THIS ANTENNA,IT WORKED GREAT WHEN I TESTED IT.If your signal is very very weak you may need a outdor Antenna. You can cut the elements on a old outdors Antenna, maybe a foot wide of less should work.

Part 2 When you first see it looks like a toy,but it's NOT.The 2 elements mesure aprox 4"(fully extended)plastic base aprox 2 3/4,1"wide.(Very small) Omni Directional(better)NOT Linear (like the Blue ones) Many people are having troube with Pixelation on New Digital Signals because of poor reception.I will try to explain (might help someone)The Digital Signals are in the UHF high band all through 700 mhz,it does NOT propagate as well as the old analog VHF low (ch 2-13) So having the right Antenna is very Important Or fine tuning your old antenna. The higher the Frequency the smaller Antenna you'll need, this is why this antenna is so small. If you are having trouble and you are using old Rabbit-Ears Antenna,it is probably because you have the antenna fully extended. Collapse all the sections

I ordered my converter box with this free antenna 3 days ago. It just showed up today from FedEx. Fast shipping. The box works ok and the antenna is Unbelievable. I mean this antenna is very small and honestly i won't buy it if i saw it in store. But it beat my old rabbit ear right away. I got 24 channels with the first scan. Great little product and it is free!

honestly, I tried a few of indoor antennas, and find this one is as good as Terk's, if not better. besides, It is very small so won't be a eyesore object.

Fast shipments and product is exactly what I expected. Customer service rep was patient, since i used an expired coupon, they canceled my old order and took a new one when i get the new TV coupon.

Horrible reception. Not worth it unless you live right next to the signal.

I got it for free along w/ my DTV converter from Meritline. It retails for $7. Considering the price and depending on your home location, this item can be a great value for people looking to watch ABC/NBC/FOX/CW/Peachtree TV and a couple of Spanish channels. I have used this on a basic 720p HD TV and on an old rear projection TV. I had to move it around a little bit, but the basic channels had great picture(specially on my HD tv). Considering the price (or in my case, free), this is a great product. This is not a $50 outdoor antenna. So please don't hate it just coz you have unrealistic expectations.

This little antenna worked very well when placed next to a window. The channels (about 12) were crystal clear. Reception is more dificult when not near a window.

i like that it's small and how it sits on my television, but, it's not the best as far as receiving certain channels, unfortunately.

When I opened the pkg, I was a bit skeptical that they would work. However, they do work and perform beautifully.

This antenna does not work. It measures approx. 5 inches with each "ear" fully extended and does not pick one single channel, no matter what position I use...and it is plugged in correctly...when I use my old roof antenna, I at least can pick up about 12 DTV stations. Save your money!!!

I ordered two boxes and one of them didn't work out of the box. I filed RMA, but I don't think it is fair that I have to pay for shipping for something that was dead on arrival.

It in some cases has a good reception but you have to waste good time looking for the correct spot to mount it, the suction cup does not stick to anything, falls after a few seconds.
