This device displays video perfectly. It does not pass audio through. So when I used it for my media center PC, I do not get audio unless I feed it with another cable.

Good product and works great with Win 7. Only 2 compliants and this is the issue with displaylink software. 1) Two of these products do not work in the same machine for Windows 7 2) Does not work or supported in Win 2008 server. Other than that, this is awesome if u want to two extra monitors in Win 7 and probably more in Win XP.

Works almost as good as advertised. Not so good using HDMI out for graphics intensive applications. Good enough for data and other simpler programs.

Easy to set up, works great. I downloaded the drivers from the website. At first the unit would not communicate but I realized that I hadn't plugged in the USB cable all the way, takes a little force. I use it for remote desktop and basic word processing and works for my needs.

At first I had trouble getting this to work because I hadn't plugged the mini-USB side of the cable all the way in. It takes a lot of force to snap in - spent about 30 minutes troubleshooting until I finally realized the cable wasn't plugged in all the way. Once that was taken care of, everything was smooth. Works exactly as described. Install the driver from the DisplayLink website (forget using the CD), plug in the adapter and it automatically recognizes your monitor resolution. I've been looking for an easy way to add a third monitor without figuring out the right video cards/adapters to buy and this is the simplest way. I have it working on Vista 64-bit with three monitors - two via DVI and the Mygica through VGA (via included adapter.) I also split the signal from the Mygica to a VGA switch so I can switch between my third desktop monitor and my 60" LED HDTV. Works flawlessly. Wish I found out about this product earlier!

This item works great with my Atom netbook running XP-Pro. The display quality (through analog adapter) is perfect. Keep in mind that ALL devices like this use DisplayLink chips. If you can live with the limitations imposed by the technology, then this adapter is as good as any and cheaper than most. Recommended.
