I've had my UShow US165 over 1-1/2 years and it has worked well on XP. However, when I got a Dell Latitude E6520 64-bit Win 7, it would get a blue screen of death when it's attached to the USB port. Uninstall/reinstall the WIN 7 driver made no difference (tried Nov 2012 and again July 2013 -- driver didn't change during that time). So I rate it a 5 for XP, a 0 for Win 7, and average 3 for running well on the Dell D630 XP laptop for 1-1/2 years.

Awesome product - this is just a USB video card that enabled me to go from 2 to 3 monitors on a laptop where I couldn't add a internal VC. I have this running on Windows 7 on my work laptop, with the USB plugged into my dock. No driver disk was necessary (win7 recognized it automatically).

for MAC is not the best option - this is chipst for DL-193, and does not support 1920 x 1200 widescreen resolution DL-195 chipset (slightly better model out there) is preferred for MAC 10.7 - 10.8 new 2.0 driver addressed previous issues, but USB 3 chipset models (DL-3xxx) are still shaky and too early on MAC

Good product! I was looking for one a USB display adapter for my church for a while. I happened to see this on sale for only $30. This was significantly cheaper than the $100 was expecting. I've used itseveral times and it works well on both Mac and PC. Resolution is good. I've noticed that it runs a little warm, so it needs to be well ventilated, but it is a quality product at a good price. I would recommend to others. It even arrived ahead of the expected delivery date.

I have two of these stacked on a HP docking station giving me a total of three LCD panels. Laptop is running Win 7 Pro. Easy to install and was up and running in no time. If you are looking to expand your monitors this is a economical way to accomplish that.

At first I had trouble getting this to work because I hadn't plugged the mini-USB side of the cable all the way in. It takes a lot of force to snap in - spent about 30 minutes troubleshooting until I finally realized the cable wasn't plugged in all the way. Once that was taken care of, everything was smooth. Works exactly as described. Install the driver from the DisplayLink website (forget using the CD), plug in the adapter and it automatically recognizes your monitor resolution. I've been looking for an easy way to add a third monitor without figuring out the right video cards/adapters to buy and this is the simplest way. I have it working on Vista 64-bit with three monitors - two via DVI and the Mygica through VGA (via included adapter.) I also split the signal from the Mygica to a VGA switch so I can switch between my third desktop monitor and my 60" LED HDTV. Works flawlessly. Wish I found out about this product earlier!

Fantastic product, simple to use, fast and just works! Only issue was plugging in the mini usb connector .. the unit wasn't working, then I realized I had to push really hard until I heard a Click.

This device displays video perfectly. It does not pass audio through. So when I used it for my media center PC, I do not get audio unless I feed it with another cable.

This item works great with my Atom netbook running XP-Pro. The display quality (through analog adapter) is perfect. Keep in mind that ALL devices like this use DisplayLink chips. If you can live with the limitations imposed by the technology, then this adapter is as good as any and cheaper than most. Recommended.

Easy to set up, works great. I downloaded the drivers from the website. At first the unit would not communicate but I realized that I hadn't plugged in the USB cable all the way, takes a little force. I use it for remote desktop and basic word processing and works for my needs.
