    these were fun WHEN they worked. Out of 7, only 2 of them worked. Too bad because the ones that worked were great.

    i ordered 5. the led lights were so pretty especially at night. however only 2 of the 5 toys were functional. on the three that didn't work, each of the top(saucer part) will not fit into the black hand-held part securely, therefore preventing it from taking off when the string is pulled. on 1 of those 3, the string simply didn't retract back after being pulled once for the first time, and it wasn't even pulled hard. anyways, the 2 that worked were very nice, and provided hours of fun for the kids. the lights on all 5 stayed on for a very long time, and they're still working as there is a switch to turn it off. anyways, i purchased 5 and only 2 were functional.

    Pretty fun little novelty for the money. Lights up and spins higher than you might think! I recommend using it on grass as the landings can be rather unpredictable and rough. But it is sturdy enough to survive being hand caught or landing on the street.

    I bought 3 pull a rip cord and a lighted "ufo" disc spins and rises then falls toys. These are the best! Especially at night!!! best over a soft surface like grass. Thank you! We've had a bunch of fun with them already. Highly recommend. You can totally control the direction they fly by how you hold the handle when you pull the cord, btw. It's great

    Very good. flies high... for outdoor. LEDs blew out though before I opened it. It can hurt if fingers get between the wings. Still good for the price I paid.

    2 of the 4 I ordered worked well. One didn't light up at all (batteries were dead) and on another one LED was dead. The ones that work are great fun and my kids love them.

    for the price - lots of fun! these things really fly. make sure you have lots of open space around. my second flight ended up on top of my neighbor's second story roof - across the street. i'm still waiting for the wind to blow it down.

    A good product made of flexible plastic.Plastic launcher puts it nicely into flight. Easy to locate because of bright lights and fun to play in night. Battery in flying saucer can not be recharged, just in case if your kid leaves the switch open after use.

    It is a nice toy for a great price however you may want to tighten screws that hold two pieces of launcher together as they tend to fall off.

    I wouldn't buy this again. You get what you pay for. It's only worth a dollar if you get one that works. The saucer didn't even fit onto the launcher. The launcher is also very cheaply made. It lasted about 1 day.

    Very cheap plastic, may cut your skin if not careful. The plastic wheel developed a crack after few pulls. Waste of money, not worth even a dollar.

    The product is great and works very well. The only issue is that you need a big open space to play with this. The fly has an irritating fascination for trees and roof tops. So my advice is to play in large open areas only. This thing flies fast, high and long

    It is good quality and lot of fun for this price. Kids enjoy it a lot. In the begining it needed little practice to get it fly up in the sky but they enjoyed even that part of learning.

    The Spin LED Light Flying Saucer Toy, Random Color worked for the first hour then only one of the lights worked out of the three after that. I only spun it inside the house in a one level house. The three year old I bought it for still liked it.

    I ordered 8 of them and the kids had a lot of fun with them. Only had an issue with the lights not working on one of them and I called and the rep. said he would give me a credit.

    This was a really cool toy, but be careful - it's fragile. The pull string broke off after about 12 uses. The kids loved it until it broke.

    The product actually surprised me when I first tried it. The flying saucer will go about 40 ft in the air on a good pull. I have problems because the wind takes it pretty far away. Fun toy though, and cheap

    These are the neatest toys. I ordered 2 of the flying saucer toys. They arrived quickly. I received a blue one and a green one. I thought the green one lit up better than the blue one. My two small boys (ages 4 & 5) loved them! They giggled like crazy when they saw how they worked. They worked great the first day. By the second day, the lights were going low. However, for the price, they are a great value!! I would definitely order more.

    It's an excellent toy. i thought of giving 5 star when i opened and played it for my kid. The LED light were spectacular...She loved it very much.. But just in two days the string came off...the quality of the string was very bad...Also the batteries for the LED got drained within two days...I'm thinking of replacing the string and the batteries myself...

    My son loved this! Luckily we bought two because they fly so high one got stuck on top of the garage. At first glance they seem cheap and honestly we weren't quite sure they would work, but they ended up being a great product for an even better price.

    Items came damaged in small bubble wrapped envelope from Hong Hong. It took two weeks, but that was expected and noted when ordered. In the past orders from Meritline were delivered in good condition and were a good buy. The problem is that the price is so low even with quantity purchases that it is not worth fighting for a refund or replacement.

    I wasn't expecting much from this toy. It flies very high and the kids loved chasing it. Haven't tried it at night yet, but the lights are very cool. It has an on/off switch so the battery should last for a while.

    I bought lot of items from Meritline and never had any issues or concerns, but I am very much dissappointed with this one. It is just like paying $2 for a piece of plastic and nothing much, just waste of time and money.

    it didn't take 5 minutes for my kid to break one of the two that I ordered. the other one came with LED lights already broken. I would have been real busted if I didn't buy this at the very special discount. otherwise, stay away from this.

    3 of the 5 I ordered for a dollar each were defective. The hole the spinning part fits into had a molded in obstruction preventing it from seating properly. CS promply issued a refund for the 3. The other 2 worked great and the kids love them.

    Ordered 4, only 2 worked. Contacted Meritline and they wanted me to ship back the items that I received defective at my expense; my price on the items that did work therefore doubled. I wasn't about to pay to ship items back that I received broken, and take a chance on receiving another two items that were also broken. Yes, Meritline does sometimes offer items at good prices but when you factor in probable broken defective items that you will be responsible to ship back it's not such a great deal. Buyer beware, and I will now think twice before ordering from Meritline again.

    It's a cool toy. Bought 2, 1 worked other, the lights didn't. Still pretty cool. Highly recommended when the lights work. Ok toy when the lights are broken. I'd advise to buy more than you need to ensure you receive the number of working ones that you want.

    Really very nice; make sure space is open and for it may hang on some tree branch. You can play it like frisbee or high up, really very nice. The lights look so cool for an adult too playing with kids. Order more for each one would like to have one rather share.

    Good price. Brought it to our recent camping trip. Kids played with it and the string broke on the 2nd day. The flashing lights continued to entertain them at night for another couple of days.

    I bought 5 of these candle lights. I was pleasantly surprised about how nice they were. They even "blow out" by just blowing on them. I'm serious! (sound detector) For .99 cents you cant beat it! 1 of the 5 had a chipped cylinder top and another did not detect any sound so you had to manually turn it off.

    These were much better toys than expected. For the price I was shocked that they had on/off switches for the led lights and all three different color lights actually worked (as well as the switch) on every one received.

    Since they were so cheap and I figured they would break, I purchased 3. They came in a padded envelope and when I opened it, the part that flies was not quite round. But it still flies pretty well. It is a bit hard for my 4 year old to pull the string hard enough to get it to take off, but she still likes to watch me get it going.

    Please don't waste your money on those flyers. First, it didn't fly at all. Just dropped to the floor. Second, the quality is very very poor. I bought 3 for my 5 years old, all broke into pieces after about 20 minutes of playing.

    I bought 8 of these when then went on sale for $1 with free shipping. I've only opened 2 of them so far. The quality is what you would expect, but they have worked so far. The lights work and are bright. The pull cord comes off if you aren't careful. Don't pull it too hard. The flying disc isn't exactly round, but it still flies well. It's good enough to keep my kids entertained at night for a while. When it breaks, I have plenty of back-ups.

    Plastic is very cheap and has already cracked after a week. But it still works and I have to admit my two year old loves it when we take it to the park. The thing must go up in the air at least a hundred feet. Tons of fun. After it breaks I will order another one.

    These were much better than I expected. I assume they'll break eventually but for the $1 or $2 I paid for them, big deal. I bought a few just in case. So far it works great. Flies high into the sky and the kids love it. They can't do it themselves well but love to watch me do it. Also it has smashed into walls and the driveway and still works great. Even the LED lights still work. Definitely worth the money.

    I purchased these toys for 3 different friends who have kids and a pair for my nephew just in case one landed on the roof. I even ordered 2 for myself to play with on the beach at night! Everyone Loved them including the 2 girls who received them. I received them within 10 days and all of them were in perfect condition. For the sale price I paid of $1.99 with Free shipping I don't know how anyone could complain.

    The flying saucers were packed so tight in a small box that all of them were permanently distorted. Instead of the saucers being round, they all have assumed a different shape, making the toy not function as it is supposed to. Simply disappointed...

    I received three, all had quality issues (didn't work or damaged). Customer service said they would refund but I had to order again at full price! Went from $3.00 for three to $12.00 for three and wasn't my fault. I sent three emails about this, NO repsonse from Customer Service asking about price difference. I is the principal of it.

    Probably the best and cheapest toy I've ever bought. Both of mine worked fine, and I found it hard to put them both down. They're made really flimsily and feel cheap, but theyre pretty durable, and I bounced them all over the walls in my apartment in the dark without issue. I am goin to buy more in fact :)

    Arrived with LED switch on and the LEDs would not work for more than a day.. Also, the pull string broke the first day. Be prepared to fix the hand launcher!

    I ordered 5 and only 3 work. The first one I opened never worked the nob that holds the saucer was broken off. The other ones lights burned out right away. However, the ones that work are wonderful! The kids love them! hours worth of fun. They are cheap but when they work they a great!

    Ordered two. One "saucer" didn't light. Automatic recoil failed after 1st pull. Other unit was a crowd pleaser. Waiting to see if it lasts 24 hours.

    This would be a great toy if the build quality wasn't so bad. One rotor had leftover plastic from the mould and wouldn't fit on the launcher. One launcher was defective. Lights didn't work on the 3rd rotor. So out of 3 pieces, I was able to cannibalize parts and get a fully functional unit. Rotor flew way higher than I expected. Was great fun for my dog and toddler to chase - especially at night. String broke after less than 20 uses, but I was able to take it apart and replace the string with a much sturdier rope. This thing goes way over 100 vertical feet with the stronger pull rope.

    I doesn't feel very sturdy, but it is still a very good value because it was quite inexpensive. My 9-year-old has used it quite a few times and it still works. I will probably buy more.

    I ordered 2 and they were awesome for about 5 minutes. One of the pull strings broke, both bases cracked from pulling the string, very disappointing.

    These things are awesome! I put a ton of time, money, and sweat into a spectacular fireworks display for the 4th. When it was over - folks got their drink on and I brought out the Flying Saucers. They were the life of the party and I'm pretty sure everyone had more fun with them than they did with the fireworks!

    These things are loads of fun but DO break easily... Not the led disc thingy but the string pull thing. We did figure out how to fix them though so if you have the same issue.. just unscrew the black thingy, rethread the string threw the middle piece & reknot it.. there you go, done. I do fully recommend these! I do suggest though that you warn your children that they WILL pop your fingers/wrist/hand/anything touching the black thing lol. I ended up doing it myself because after a few times you end up with a crying child.. so when I did it, they chased it & everyone was happy (well I had a sore hand & a cut on one finger.. but it was worth it IMO) Sorry so long lol

    Great toy. We bought 25 of them for my son's 4th birthday party. The kids loved them. The LEDs all worked and the saucers flew high (some ended up on the roof). It was easy enough for 4 year olds to fly on their own (after a few practice flights). I was afraid when I saw them in the box - but after we flew them, wow! Great toy!

    $1 for each is a good deal, my son loves it! Lights come out bright. i have not tried it outdoor been only using it indoor and it is cool... for one of the saucer the lights did not come at first, but later i figured out that the switch (black color) had to be turned ON and OFF (with more force than usual) for several times it became okay... for a dollar with shipping is a good deal!

    I was not expecting much for $2 but was pleasantly surprised. My son played with one for about 3 hours straight until the string broke. He definitely was not easy on it between him, his dad and the dog. We are still using the second one we got and I just ordered a couple of more. They fly really high and are worth the price (better than 98% of the dollar store toys).

    Good Product. Slow shipping but for $0.99 not a bad thing. It took more than 2 weeks I received the product. Anyway product was really good more than the expectations.     I bought two of these flying saucers and when I got them in the mail, one had been left on and the batteries were dead, so that kinda defeats the purpose, should throw in extra batteries. Also be careful when using, edges are very sharp, so make sure no one is in the way. and don't face it towards a person (obvious) I tried to catch one coming down and cut my finger.

    Fun and OK quality! Not for small kids as the string and its holder can snap or pinch fingers when pulled and released. Also, when pulled a little harder, the plastic broke and the string came out on of them.

    The product was just as described, takes a wonderful flight and also works as a top on floors. It is keeping my kid busy beyond the 30 mins barrier with a new toy. He gets pretty excited during the nights with this flying saucer. The shipment of the product was in a bubble wrap envelope, which made the flying saucer bend a bit, but no breaks or other damage.

    It's a fun toy for the kids when it works. I purchased three at a buck a piece. One saucer did not fit in the launcher as another reviewer noted. 2 of the 3 leds on all 3 saucers died after a few hours. So $3 for a few hours of entertainment is not so bad. To put it into perspective, a movie costs about $9 for a couple of hours of entertainment.

    Received the flying saucer. Cool, but they both came miss shappen and bent. I was able to straighten them out, but the deformity does affect its flight. It would have been a nice item if they were not deformed.

    Great value for the price. My four year old had some problems with the force/speed required to make the saucer fly but my six year old didn't. Definitely a toy that is for the outside. We have 14 foot ceilings in our house and it reached them very easily and quickly. Have been in use for about two weeks now and have had no issues whatsoever. I know these won't last forever, especially with the kids fighting over them but will definitely buy them again!

    Very cheaply made, but I guess you can't expect much for $1. It broke on the 2nd use, and I had to repair it with a glue that cost more than the original purchase price. However, after the repair, I am having a $1MM worth of fun with it.

    I got a pair of these two days ago and they work like charm! The first time I pulled the toy indoor, the saucer shoot up to the ceiling, spinning over there for quite a few seconds which immediately excited my daughter. Then we spent a long time playing them outside. Excellent toy for kids 4 years and up, as it requires some force and speed to spin the saucer.
