This thing barely works and is very flimsy. Would not recommend at all. Love Meritline but they need to remove this product.

As others have said this is very flimsy and ended up not working correctly. I threw it out within two weeks of receiving it.

This thing is junk. The picture was very deceiving and I thought I was getting the ones I see at the stores, but no, this is TINY! it's so small that the laws of momentum doesn't even hold.....eg, the ball goes back and forth about 3 times total and the cable is too short to keep it going. If it was sold for a dollar, then it's worth it, otherwise. Disappointed.

I have made many dozens of purchases from Meritline, and have been happy in almost every case, except, most notably, for this item. This Newton's Cradle is tiny. The balls are solid metal, but the rest is cheap plastic and low quality monofilament plastic wire. One of the wires broke on the second day, rendering it useless after that. When it was working, it worked poorly. As can be seen in the picture, the balls did not line-up. Also, when swinging, the monofilaments would "slop" out of their grooves. Each of these flaws ruins the physics, so it does not behave as it should. If you have ever seen or used a quality Newton's Cradle, then you will be VERY disappointed with this one. If this is your first experience, then you will be hard-pressed to guess what concept it is supposed to be demonstrating, or worse, you will develop an incorrect understanding of the physics. This item would be fairly priced at one dollar or less, with the caveat that it is not really a Newton's Cradle.

This is a piece of junk. It's broken out of box and can't be used at all. The build is just that, a junk.
