Product works as described. It's quite compact for three outlets, will charge both an iPhone and Android phone at once. Does not have high enough amperage output for charging the iPad.

It does look quite handy, but like the previous reviewer said, it doesn't have the 2 a needed for an ipad, plus I would like to charge my iphone as well. That would be at least 3a, if not more for speedy recharge. That would be quite handy on a trip - a quick charge for both devices I found an xtreme mac device that puts out 4.2a and it charges both devices simultaneously great. It just doesn't have the three outlets and the cool plug.

Quality made product, but does not have the USB voltage to charge an ipad. Would work fine for average cellphones and toys.

2 outlets with 0.75 amps each = 1.5 amps, just what the description says! Why would anyone downgrade a product when it does what it says! Strange, indeed!

The description of the amperage is misleading. The package insert says that the two USB ports are 0.75 amps each, while the current product description says "Charge current support to 1.5A to fit all cell phones." But, the product does seem to work, and the collapsible wall plug is kind of neat, though I can't comment on the quality of the surge protection ... and hopefully never will need to.

Does exactly what it says. I like how the prongs of the plug folds away so it stores easier for traveling. It seems like these days, everyone has a smart phone. With this plug, my wife and I don't have to worry about bringing 2 x usb to AC plugs to charge our phones. I also like how the ac outlets are not next to each other so if you have a big plug, it won't take up two spots. The only complaint I had was that I ordered one and the USB plugs don't work. Meriline was pretty good about it. They asked me if I wanted a refund or a replacement, and I said replacement because it's handy to have around the house or to travel with it. The replacement came a week after. Overall, I'm happy with the product and happy with Meriline's customer service.

Good quality but USB ports have insufficient power to charge iPAD/Tablets. Use 110V outlet with iPAD/Tablets original AC/DC adapters working fine.

Decent build quality. Electric outlets works nicely. However, the USB port does not have enough current to charge any Blackberry, even ones that normally charge from the USB port of a USB 1.1 port on an old laptop. Disappointed. I am wondering if the labelled 750mA output on the USB ports are only 500mA or less.

I think the reviewers who are rating it down for not providing enough amps should have their reviews invalidated, as the item says right in the description that it provides only 750mA. To rate the product down for not being something it never claimed to be is unfair, and frankly, should be grounds for the review to be yanked.
