Not one coaster so far either. Great quality, drive reads and writes it well. Backups working.

No coasters and they burn at 2x in the Panasonic (laptop) and compared to dvdr's technically cheaper. and frankly way cheaper than dual layer dvdr's for storage. about on par with cheaper hard drives. To the person saying these are Ritek's. Not according to the code I have. The ones I have seem to be from Phillips :( But certainly not TDK. those suck. let alone the price. o_O Gonna try Merax out now (which can only be Meritline's brand)

I ordered these because of all the good reviews. Everyone said they were great and had no coasters. My first burned resulted in a fail so one coaster down, hope this isn't what to expect from these discs.
