These burn well in my two newer burners, but in my older burner they have issues. I need a firmware update, probably. Also, they play well in my older Apex unit, and very well in my upconverting Toshiba. No hiccups. Have not made many coasters (2 or so, in my older burner, may have been software's fault). They will not play back in my older Samsung mini-DVD player, though.

Great dual layer blanks for the money. Haven't made a coaster, and they all work after the burn process. Make sure you have latest firmware for your optical drive installed.

i bought these for use on the xbox 360 they work fine i can only burn at 4x though if i try anyfaster they fail. for the price they are great.

got them and only problem i had at all is my own doing i over compressed a movie to cram all 5 titles of it on 1 disc so the image was pixels when i redid it and put 3 on 1 disc and 2 on the second they all are dvd quality movies still i learned not a good idea to take 5 movies totaling 13.5 hours and 20.5 gig and compress down to 8.4 just loses to much quality in the compression of that extreme but again as i stated no problems with any bad burns or anything great buy

Bought one of these 50 packs and used them all in about a week, no coasters at all. would recommend highly. i burn at 4x, i dont mind the extra wait time for better quality burn

Works with 360. So far only 1 coaster and that could have been the 360 process.

My NEC drive writes the first layer just fine, and then proceeds to create a coaster by failing on the START of the second layer every single time. No problems with Phillips and Memorex DVD+R DL blanks, but so far, I am 0 for 5, and wondering if I should try any more. Processor is running at 10% utilization, and no other apps running. Buffer ALWAYS at 98 to 100%. Best speed in NERO on layer 1 is just under 4x, and that is the ONLY speed offered by Nero. So far, I am not impressed.

I bought these for 360 backups but didnt work very well. about half the pack were coasters.
