dimmer than what I expected, however the light is enough for the outside lights CF bulbs they replaced. Hoping in the cold weather they don't take times to warm up like CF bulbs(LED's are not supposed to). I leave them on all the time, not obvious that they are on during the day and only are 1.5 watts in anycase.

Frankly I was disappointed. The light color is very yellow with a hint of green, nothing at all like "warm white". In fact, a white sheet of paper under these lights looks like a yellow post-it note. Give these bulbs a miss unless you like yellow. I have now purchased some Philips LED bulbs that really are warm white and are just like incandescent bulbs.

Small, 3" long, about the lenght of a pack of cigarettes. Light output > a 25w bulb. Clear globe, and I wouldn't call it warm white, has a kinda greenish/yellow tint, least the one's I received did. No "warm-up" time @28deg in outside light FYI. Low power use but = less light output, kinda have to find a use for it. Good night-lite for kids? Doesn't seem to get hot.

My review is basically the same as the other reviews. I expected the light to be low intensity as I did my math on the wattage etc. My main problem was that the warm white was more of a yellow. I intended to use it for some accent lighting, so the low intensity was ok. I did expect more an incandescent range of color though. It does seem well constructed however and if you have a use for something with this hue it would be an ok purchase.

Nice accent light, not all that bright compatible to 15-3-25 watts. The bulb does not get hot at all, and is cool enough to handle while on for extended times. The light put out is a yellowish tint. over all it is a good deal if you want a small accent light, or bright night light. seems pretty tough, and is not a fall apart item. I consider it a good value for LED light. This is not for whole room lighting, unless you are going to use a lot of them.

I'm very pleased with this light. It does have a yellowish, almost greenish tint to the light, though. They're roughly the size of the small lightbulbs you see in older refrigerators. I bought a pair to install as the range lights in our kitchen; the yellow-green tint doesn't look too bad in this context. We leave them on 24x7 at a cost of ~$0.50/month*. Our kitchen is average-sized and it lights up the entire area at night. It's more than bright enough for quick chores like putting things away, grabbing a cup or a snack from a cabinet, etc., without having to turn on the bright overhead lights. _____ * Source: michaelbluejay.com/electricity/howmuch.html

Exactly what I was looking for. They provide some light, and cost almost nothing to use. They're about like a 15 watt incandescent bulb (not very bright), but they only take 1 watt of electricity. That's about $1 of electricity, to run it CONTINUOUSLY for a year. I have a garage, with no windows, I have two of these, that I leave on all the time. So, when I come in through the back door, where there's no light switch, I can still see reasonably well.

The color is far from 3300K. Color is actually very green. It may be fine to use outside or in a lamp where the light is diffused through a shade where the color will not matter. Base would not screw into the slot in my fridge far enough to make contact.. It worked fine in various lamps I tested. The only plus is that these only use 1.5 watts replacing 7 watt cfl's in bedside lamps.

Perfect for my use on two outside locations and in the back of a corridor on 24 hrs/day. I don't need them any brighter and the light is OK warm not like the sterile bluish "hospital lights" of so many LED bulbs. Since each Watt costs about $1/year electric bill for always on, it will save lots over the CFL's they replaced.

Will run on a nickel forever. Off white color, use it as night light or accent lighting.
