Finally, my iPhone 4 is now protected. I don't think I would purposefully throw this one on the floor like the case for the 3GS, but it looks pretty rugged. I can now use generic charger plugs (couldn't with the 3GS case because of the plastic ridge around the port). The holster seems to hold the phone a little more securely than the holster for the 3GS. All in all, a great buy!

Terrible product. The outer rubber doesn't stay on and the slot for the headphones doesn't line up. Very disappointed with this item. Very poor job done by Otterbox.

Not as well made as Otterbox Defender for i phone 3gs. Ripped after 3 days and rubber is left hanging.

HORRIBLE item. HORRIBLE...the headphone jack on the case doesn't line up with the phone and the rubber around the edges will not stay on after only a few weeks of use. Otterbox for iphone4 is NOT EVEN CLOSE to the quality of the one for Iphone3gs. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE
