This isn't the Otterbox you're looking for. If you are willing to sacrifice the portability of your iPhone in order to protect it, get an Otterbox. But get a real one. This one is a thick rubber case with an Otterbox name, but no hard plastic shell underneath. If you want real protection, buy the real thing. If you want a $10 case, there are better ones out there.

Fits snugly, has awesome grip on the sides, Great Shock protection!! I've dropped it a few times it didn't even make a sound when it fell! i really like this Otterbox a LOT :) great buy for the price

Nice case; not exactly what I had expected but it works well. Being an Otterbox case, I figured it would be smooth plastic/rubber and not tacky rubber. As such, it tends to pickup a bit a pocket lint. It did come with an adhesive screen protector for the front of the phone but did not include one for the rear. A little annoying since there's a big hole on the back of the case to reveal the Apple logo which exposes itself to scratches.

Confused this with the defender series case. This rubber case is ok but too flexy for my taste. There is give around the edges and it doesn't give me much confidence in the case. It does give you a rubberized outer layer though so it's good for that.
