    This is a good go between my docking station and SATA plugs inside my computer. The down side is that it's shipped from overseas. It took over 3 weeks to receive this item. Look for this item shipped from within the USA.

    Plugged it in. It works. internal connectors are the locking type for secure connection. Cooler master centurion case and Gigabyte EP35-DS3R and cables were plenty long enough.

    I was offered one of these by a popular hard drive systems house for $24... I modified mine to fit in an old dual bay enclosure and made my own eSATA box for next to nothing.

    Worked fine for me, good price. Cables long enough for my case/MB combination, but may be too short for very large tower cases depending on where the sockets are on the motherboard.

    very good quality. Good for connecting external sata drive to your computer. But remember the external connector is different then the one inside the case so you can't connect directly to the drive itself. Can be used to connect other types of sata drives (burners,roms,etc.)
