Meritline.com Verified Buyer This little gas torch rivals units costing several times more. well made. good price. cons: no storage cap, no striker, no safety on the adjuster ring. just use a little tape around the adjuster ring when in storage so it doesnt turn on and drain the gas. great deal.

There is an old saying that you only get what you pay for. In this case it is true. As a soldering iron it lit easily but took 5 minutes to get hot enough to melt solder and had used almost half of the full fuel supply. However it is a really nice adjustable flame pencil torch and I can think of many uses for it but soldering is not one of them. Because of the torch tip that came with it I would say it was worth $9.00.
