There are 3 modes: fast flash, slow flash, and slow color change. *There are no solid color mode on Muliti-color Collars.* They take Button cells in case anyone is wondering. Works great and does the job!

This product works well, but it is small and will fit a toy-size dog only.

I knocked it down one star as it does not offer much neck adjustment. A great product for any dog smaller than say a beagle. Easly seen in the yard at night except when the dog looks directly at you. Bought about 10 weeks ago and use it every night. I wouldn't use as a regular all the time collar, but it sure does the job of keeping track of the dog in the dark. Ours is very bright. Have changed the battery once and it was very easy. Just bought another one for back-up becouse I wouldn't want to take the dog out without one now. Great value for the price.

Bought this one and found it was not as bright as the green one they sell. Have a fix that helps. My collar has an led that lights up a rubber like optic material. I took a knife an scored the rubber material in several places . The optics reflect off the score marks and makes it twice as bright at each mark. Probably can't return it now..haha.. Practice close to the end first with the light on and you will see what I am talking about. DO NOT CUT TO DEEP.

It actually isn't very bright. Definitely not visible in any situation from full daylight to poor overhead lighting (think the darkest aisle in a "membership club"). But it is noticeable out walking the dog at night, between streetlights, and the poorly lit park that's a mile away. With a large group of people and their dogs, this does allow people to find *me* easier. The main problem with the one I got (it does work), but it is SMALLER than what was listed, so with it maximized, it is so snug, that if my dog gained an extra pound, it would no longer fit (took a week or so to get used to it, as opposed to the "chain" that we have.) My GF joked about wearing it in a movie theatre, but it was way too small ^_^

Piece of junk. LED does not work. I would return this, but the return shipping will cost almost as much as I paid for the item. You get what you pay for, I guess.
