the product is great as always the shipping horrible Meritline used to ship to my house in 2 days. Now they started using this DHL Instead of taking a product from Meritline to me 750 miles They take it to Dallas like 1600 miles to put it in the mailbox and mail it back 800 miles. It takes a week and sucks big time

I have used these blank DVDs for several months and continue to be completely satisfied. The product performs well and the price is more than reasonable. Have always had excellent results with Philips (DM4I6B00M/17) DVD-R 16X White Inkjet Hub Printable (Metalized Hub) Blank DVDR Media Disc. Have encountered very few discs out of 5-8 thousand that did not work or were defective. I like the ability to print directly on the DVD with printer to be able to label them. This is important for work.

Since my email to customer service last autumn was ignored (in which a cake box of DVDs arrived with the cake box fractured due to poor packing), I decided, when this most recent shipment arrived, also with a fractured cake box due to poor packing, better to phone customer service. After waiting many minutes to speak to an agent, and then being put on hold by the operator for many minutes more, I was then told by the operator that an agent would call me back, and no one has ever done so. I guess the short version of a fair review for how it stands would be: Only buy from meritline if you're willing to accept broken cake boxes due to poor packing, and a customer service response that is to ignore the problem. This has happened with two out of two cake box orders.

I have come to rely on Phillips as a trusted medium for archive work. Failure rate of the product is less than 2% which could be attributable to user, program or disk error. That is negligable. I will continue to look for this product first when purchasing replacement disks.

I decided to try these after using T. Y. (now JVC)for years..(1500 +) I was pleased with the way the Philip's printed on the disk and haven't had one bad burn (video) after burning 100 videos. They are thinner than T.Y. disks but no complaints so far. and a better price..

While these DVDs are somewhat thinner than other brands, the media itself seems fine and presents no major difficulties in duplication projects. The issue, once more, is with Meritline shipping procedures. This is the fourth spindle in as many orders that has arrived with the cake box base cracked and broken. You folks need to package plastic products much more securely for UPS shipping!

These disks burn and print great. No smearing, no coasters. Nero shows media asCMC MAG AM3 disks. Nero SpeedDisk tests reult in typically 600-1000 low level PI errors per disk with disk quality always at 95% or greater. The quality is a little bit below TY and Verbatim media, but very usable.

Usually these are consistently good discs. This time the packaging is labeled differently and will not burn faster than 8x without failure. Many of the first 100 pack I have opened were manufactured flawed. Spots on the disc surface that were not sealed with the other layer....basically making them garbage. So much for quality control.... BTW...return policy for dvd's is a joke. The price to ship back is more than the price of new discs.

I see all these good reviews and I begin to wonder if there's something wrong with my equipment. But, the good reviews are the reason I made this purchase and I have been really disappointed. It seems like close to half of the DVDs are unable to be used. "Check condition" comes up and though I retry a couple of times, even on other burns, they still don't work. Karen

These are my personal DVDR favorites. I've used several hundred of these and hardly any coasters. I'm also not sure the few bad ones weren't because I was multitasking quite a bit. Excellent print quality, too.

These are the worst blanks I have ever used. They stop my Samsung DVD recorder and shut it down completely, forceing it into recovery mode. No other blanks I have ever used have done this

Good basic discs. Burn failure rate is roughly 1 in 50. inkjet print surface is average to better than average.

Although I have not used any of the Phillips discs yet, I have used the TDK`s that I purchased earlier with exellent results. I expect to experience the same performance from the Phillips discs. These are a great buy for this price.
