The TripleWriter records and plays back all popular optical storage formats including CD, DVD as well as Blu-ray, allowing you to select your media according to the application. It features a 2x (72 Mb/s or 9 MB/s continuous data-rate) read and write speed on BD-R and BD-RE media. Using the TripleWriter with Philips Blu-ray Discs guarantees drive and media compatibility. It records quickly and easily thanks to a host of performance-enhancing features, such as SolidBurn™ for superior compatibility, quality and speed, and Dynamic Calibration with tilt control for continuous reliability.
Highly reliable, readable and scratchproof discs
Philips Blu-ray discs are the toughest available and don¡¯t need the plastic casing that some other brands have. We utilize state-of-the-art precision-tooled stampers for injection molding to guarantee superior quality, use a more stable material than traditional discs, and apply an extra-tough polymer coating for unprecedented scratch resistance. The result is a longer working life. An advanced error correction system further enhances recording and ensures playability.
