It isn't Mertline's fault, but while these cartridges will work in the original MailStation, they DO NOT work in the MailStation 2. The descriptions says compatible to the 797-0 and the 797-M and 797-Q. There's a reason Pitney-Bowes has two different part numbers for the MailStation ink and MailStation 2 ink. The MailStation 2's 797-M replaces 797-Q, not 797-0. The 797-M (and Q) have a U-shaped bracket on the left side (as you look at the label) and sensors inside the MailStation 2. I've tried several brands of compatibles. None have worked in our MailStation 2. Yes, it says on the label that it is compatible with 797-M, but it is not. It is really only compatible with the 797-0.
