plugged it into my laptop and it was running in a matter of seconds; just had to tweak the speed of the cursor's motion to my liking, which was easily accomplished.

Mouse works fine. Red light is visible in the crakcs between the buttons and the body of the mouse in the dark, which some users may find distracting. The scroll wheel is very squeaky. I regret not having paid a little bit more for a higher-quality mouse that doesn't squeak.

Bought three mice for three friends whose laptops I fix. Laptop touch pads are inhumane. They couldn't believe the difference. Optical, work fine, good value.
