i don't have another scale to compare this to but it works pretty well, i think. i'm not having the power problems that others are having so i guess i lucked out.

I received the Mini Digital Spring Scale within the 2-week shipping timeframe, as promised. It arrived undamaged, but the power on/off button doesn't work. The unit powers on when I put batteries in and powers off automatically after 1 minute, regardless of whether it's being used or not. I have to keep taking the batteries out/in to turn it back on. Otherwise, it does the job fine.

I weighed a five pound rated gym ball and the scale registers an acceptable 5.03. I have a smaller digital scale which gives a 5.0118 reading. Good deal at the price of $9.99 delivered.

The scale is compact and accurate at least at the lower end. I have no way of calibrating at the upper end. I would have liked the upper limit higher - for weighing luggage at the airports.
