    This battery tester works fine, no instructions are needed to understand the "+" and "-" markings on the unit. I think the Chinese writing on the package looks cool. There is no need to post a negative review if you haven't even used the product.

    Have used this for over three years, it works great and is very handy. No instructions needed. Previous review is idiotic and has nothing to do with the performance or value of this product which are high. Recommended.

    Bought 6 as raffle prizes when on sale. Returned all 6, as the instructions on the back of the package are all in Chinese and it looks like junk. Simply too embarrassing to use. Gave it a 2 because the Meritline rating system won't allow a 1 to be submitted.

    Guaranteed to break on first use. It has a plastic slider bar that doesn't really slide, so when you try to open it to fit the battery, the flimsy plastic snaps off. Value: Zero.

    The price was right but I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a spring to hold in the batteries. You need to manually pull a contact bar up and down to test a battery. I guess I goit what I paid for.

    I am requesting replacement since the slide wont budge and I cant make readings. Please check the slide on the one you send and make sure it works before I get it.

    Works fantastic on all my battery types. Be careful of the slider as it is tight. Weak link appears to be where it attached to the testers body. Pull it from there and I expect years of service. Great gadget!

    The battery tester works well and readily identifies the condition of alkaline batteries as well as charge state of NiMH rechargable baterries.

    Tester was delivered one month after the order date. It works quite well considering the price. I have tested it with almost every type of battery it supports and have found no problems. A good buy at that price.

    Kinda flimsy. The arm cracked the first time I lifted it up. But it still works. The level of "good" and "bad" is more dependent on your device than this tester. A battery may still show in the green but not work well. It mainly helps to tell you if a battery has been used or not.

    I just received the Battery tester today so used it on some batteries that I wasn't too sure about and it worked fine. Very small and can be carried with a camera, etc.

    Battery tester did not work upon arrival coming from China. Customer service did not reply back on my refund request. I am still waiting for their reply.

    It works.... but it's cheaply made. I probably spent too much for it ($3.99 special)...I think it should only be worth $1.99 at the most. It's on a key chain, but it looks too fragile for the electronics to last very long dangling with a set of keys. I would be surprised if this lasted one year with moderate use. If you want a "GOOD" battery tester, spend a few dollars more and get a real one (like at Radio Shack).

    This is an excellent product one should have. It's very easy to test if battery is good or bad. I have dozens of rechargable batteries for my kid toys and it makes my life easy.
