Meritline.com Verified Buyer After using this scale on several fishing trips I find it's accurate enough. Switching between Kg/Lb/Oz is easy with the push of a button. The “Tare” button allows you to zero out the scale if you want to attach something to it such as a holding tray. (The scale will also zero itself out automatically if you switch it on with a weight already attached.) Another button switches on a light so that you can see the readout in the dark. Two CR2032 batteries are installed, but you need to open the back cover and remove the clear plastic strip that is inserted between the batteries and the metal contact tab. (This needs to be removed so the metal tab can make contact with the battery.) The hook at the bottom is too small to do much except hang a tray or attach a bigger hook. The metal ring at the top has two crimps to keep it from rotating. (I want mine to rotate so I took a hand file and removed the crimps.) Also, the scale is yellow instead of black as pictured. I would buy again.
