Meritline.com Verified Buyer You get what you pay for. The interface is extremely clunky, if you install a hard disk it must be formatted in FAT32 for it to be accessible to the unit, NTFS will not work. Initially all I could get was the "Setup" icon to appear until I reformatted my drive in FAT32, and now I get USB and Setup. All of my data file names are converted to 8.3 format this makes all of my long file names unreadable, for example, the "The Longest Mile.avi" is converted to "thelon~1.avi". Support was also horrible, the first rep recommended that I download the latest firmware from their website, the second rep told me there are no firmware updates for this product. Documentation provided was designed for simply usage for the interface, and troubleshooting was slimmed down to 6 questions.
