I ordered this unit on a Tuesday, and it arrived via USPS on Friday. Connected the unit to my Win Vista PC, loaded the driver (which I updated from the Ralink website) and it has been working fine. My last USB network adapter could see 10 or 12 other networks in my neighborhood; this Premiertek can see over 30!

I just received this unit and plugged it in and i am very very satisfied with it. i used to only pick up two bars with my old unit. with this unit i am picking up five bars and a lot more wi fi sources. thank you very much.

My wife's computer was getting a one bar signal and frequent disconnects. I put a small external receiver on it and it went up to 2 bars. Sometimes she had trouble connecting. After installing the Powerlink USB adapter she's getting 5 bars and no longer disconnecting! This adpater was a good investment!

This wireless USB adapter doubled my connection speed from 65Mbps to 130Mbps on a Win7 x64 box. The reason it only got 4 stars is because I had to install it with "drivers only" since the accompanying software did not allow may desktop to go to sleep mode. But in the "Driver only" mode it works just as well with no drop in speed. You can get the latest drivers from the RALINK website (even the Powerlink website recommends going there for the latest drivers).

This one has the best signal and distance than other more than 10 product i have owned. I am very happy when it worked. but after a few months, it suddenly stopped working and the computer did not recognized it anymore. i contact the seller, they provide the suppor number. Before i contact them for help, i tried to reinstall the drivers again, it started to work again, but do not show the right ICon on the right lower of the screen, anyway, it works again. do not know if it will stop working. Other thing: not like other adapters, you have to use the CD provided for installing the drivers, it will not install the drivers automaticall.

Finally this small thing works, after all other adaptors and expensive wireless boosters. This adaptor picks up the full bars of my router, before I had only 1 now 4 amazing, this thing works so awesome and no drivers needed on windows 7 installs automatically.

Best wireless adapter I have ecer owned. Excellent product. my old adapter was adequate for use with my old pc, which was located in the back room, but this blows it away. Old adapter 4-5 bars with oc cassional slow downs. This adapter % bars and every wireless network in my area at 4-5 bars. Prompt delivery, easy set up, very happy with this purchase from Meritline.

I had numerous problems with this USB adapter. the antennas kept sliding down and could not be tightened enough to stand erect. The USB cable kept falling out of the little connecting port. It kept dropping the signal. When it was working, the signal was very weak. I gave up and installed a different USB adapter.
