Just received it today. Only took one week. iPad 2 fits nice & snug. Looks well made, stitching nice & even. But time will tell if it holds up. I originally got this for an interim case but might be happy with what I got. And the price is certainly right! One thing that wasn't mentioned in the description is that the flap has magnets on it to help keep it closed. It does NOT put it in sleep mode but keeps it closed nicely. Initial impression -very pleased

Wow, I wasn't sure how I would like this but as soon as I got it, I fell in love. It offers excellent overall protection, works great as a stand in low or high positions, AND the auto standby/off-standby feature of the iPad 2 works! Quality is excellent. Very slim overall but still excellent protection. Allows use of both cameras and all other functions without removing it form the cover. The only thing keeping it from being perfect is that the side buttons are a little difficult to get to but that's more a function of the iPad design (curved edges). I also have the Apple Smart Cover and immediately took it off because I like this better. The cover for the glass doesn't rest on the glass like the Smart Cover where it could possibly scratch the glass if a piece of sand or something was between the cover and glass. What a great deal!

I agreed with Suzy. Nice case. Good magnetic latch. Great protection for iPad2. DOES NOT WORK WITH THE iPad2 SLEEP FUNCTION! Also doesn't work with the Apple magnetic front cover or even a back cover; however, it offers better protection then both other covers combined. I like this cover, but I love my Apple front cover with a modified back cover. If it worked with the iPad2 sleep function I would give it the highest rating.

It finally arrived, but it was well worth the wait. The quality is exceptional, especially for the price. The magnet does turn off the iPad, just like Apple's cover, and the soft leather inside won't scratch the glass. This case would be a great buy at twice the price, but it's unreal at the price I paid. One note for those having problems with the magnet turning the iPad off and on, it is a setting in the general preferences. It is turned off by default and needs to be enabled for the magnet to work. The magnet doesn't work 100% of the time, but it does most of the time. If the line up of the cover is off, it won't hit it. If you just let it close, to works better. The brown color is beautiful. All my other cases are black or black and white, dressing my iPad in different colors is nice.

A great case for the iPad 2! I purchased one of these and liked it so much I bought several more in both brown and black. It looks like real leather and is well made. The magnets work great for activating the sleep feature of the iPad 2. It is thicker material than a couple of other iPad cases I bought from Meritline, so it has a "richer" look. The other cases had problems with the magnets putting the iPad to sleep when the flap was folded around the back. This case does not have that problem.

I bought this from Meritline about 3 months ago. It works with the iPad2 sleep function - close = sleep, open = awake. Excellent product. Buy it!

Excellent value and case! As other reviewers have noted, the Ipad 2 fits perfectly in it and the case is well made. It did take a little while to get delivered but that was expected. When I did receive it, it did have a couple of marks/small creases on it because of the cheap packaging HOWEVER they all went away after a couple of days use. When people see it and ask how much it costs, I say guess. They usually guess $40 or more. I love watching their jaws drop when I tell them how much I paid here on Meritline. One more thing the color is gorgeous. It has a hint of red in it so it has a slight burgundy look to it in the right light.

I've bought one of these several months ago and was very impressed with the quality and functionality. I just bought two more as Christmas gifts for friends. I'm not sure why others have a problem but the magnetic sleep function works great on all three covers I purchased. Highly recommended. Delevery from China took about 2 and a half weeks.
