There's no obvious low-battery indication. I assume it's trying to tell me that by flashing "--" for all but the lower two values every two seconds.
Would love to find a version that could deal with multiple remote sensors. Obvious use could be upstairs, downstairs, house front, back, even attic & crawlspace.
