It came on time. The description says it works outside but instruction on package says this one is for indoor only :( . Meritline should remove that incorrect description. Also the battery 23A is odd. It should be part of the package. I received it but can not use it till I buy a battery. For some ppl it may never happpen.

These remote switches work great. They click pretty loud when you press the remote, so it is easy to know it got the signal. The manual overides and on/off lights are very nice. The only negative is that they are prretty big. They take up 2-3 plugs in a power strip. That is way I took one star away. Overall Very Good...

Works great indoors. As another review said, you need a special 12 volt battery (A23 or 23A) for the remote which I ordered from some other place. Seems to have good range (works in the entire house). It would be nice if they were power-strip friendly.

Love these switches. You can control it manually by press the button on the switch, or using the remote. The special battery was purchased from a website, less than $1 a piece.

It's a cheap way to control power to your devices from around your room. There are two things you should know ahead of time. First, that the socket units are HUMONGOUS (about 2.5"x5.5"x2.5"). If you use them on a power strip, they will most definitely block other sockets. Secondly, A23 battery not included. The only other minor complaint is that it would be nice if additional remotes were available. It's really a 3-star product, but because I knew what I was getting into and it does what it says it does, I gave it 4.
