Meritline.com Verified Buyer I own 4 of these batteries, and I can tell you that although they do work, they do not operate at the 2500mAh that is stated on the battery, nor the 2300mAh that is in the product description. In testing them at full charge, we are getting between 2100 and 2200mAh, which is keeping our operation times between 11 and 15 hours. The OEM battery that came with our phone use to operate between 18 and 24 hours. Great price, but you get what you pay for, and these are not a good OEM replacement.

I haven't purchased this, but you should keep in mind that the NFC (near field communication) radio is part of the battery on the Galaxy S3. Given the price point, I will be shocked if the radio is included. NFC is the communication protocol that works over a distance of a couple of inches. The most popular use is Google Wallet, which lets you pay for things by tapping your phone on a receiver. What does that mean, in english? You won't be able to use any of the features that require you to tap your phone to some other object (usually a "smart tag" or another smartphone). If you don't use any of these features, then this might be a good buy, but don't expect them to keep working.
