I've grown very fond of the Ritek product. Pretty reliable across platforms -- good, fast burns with few "coasters" from the set-top burner (and none in the MacBook, where the performance really shines). Good-quality playback on movies, too. Combine the reliability with the price, and you've got a good deal all the way around.

I've gone through 4~5 hundred of these discs. Never had a coaster that wasn't my fault. I use Epson printers to put artwork on the discs and they seem to print equal to a good quality photo paper, and they dry quickly. I can't see buying anything else.

After purchasing several hundred of these DVDs, there has been no reports to me that a disk has failed from anyone of the many people I handed them out to. I've had my duplicator reject only 2 so far out of about 300. I've been pleased thus far. ><>

Product is acceptable and price was reasonable with the shipping included. If shipping is separate, then it is not all that great value. Some of the discs stick together but I have not had a problem to burn them when they have stuck together.

Pretty good media for the money. Surface is great for printing, nice clear picture. Would be better if it was glossy instead of matte. Disc speeds vary from 4x to 10x with some burner programs. But you can get 16x with others. Would recommend to whoever needs DVD-Rs.

These are a good disc but seem to burn slower than they are rated. I do suggest them if you just want to back up another disc and don't want to spend much money.

Over 15% of these kicked back from our duplicators. We rarely see over 5%. We have contacted the company on a few occasions and no one has communicated with us on this issue. We have given up on getting a resolution

Ridata just works... I get about 1 coaster per 4 packs... or a failure rate of 0.5%... which is excellent and they play on all my players (portable, TIVO, blu-ray). Print surface works nice.

I tried maybe 10 brands before I got stuck on Ritek Ridata, and after burning over 600 discs I haven't had one coaster due to the disc. I use them in my Macs and DVD recorders. DVD recorders become finicky when they acquire a little dirt, and then it doesn't matter which disc you use. The white top and hub print clear and sharp. Can't imagine choosing a different disc.

Wasn't 16x. I recieved 8x. They arrived intact,none of the outer wrap had ruptured. They burn fine at 4x. They are not 16x, CLEARLY marked 8x.

I've had very few coasters with Ritek Ridata discs, and of the ones I've had I don't remember even one being the fault of the disc. I'm sticking with this brand of disc. I've got no complaint at all. They burn fast and clean.

Arrived intact and sealed. No damage. All discs burned flawlessly,mo coasters. I used to use Taiyo for my duplicator,but in my humble opinion, quality has suffered as JVC took over,gave Raitek another shot and they are working out fine. Raitek is my first choice now, (until JVC buys them and lowers quality and raises costs !!!

I have used hundreds of these blank DVDs without any problem. The printable portion produces a clear label,depending on the quality of your printer. I would recommend these to the recreational user. I am not a professional so cannot comment on their quality in a professional environment

Solid, inexpensive media. I like the white, printable surface, even though I don't use printer on it; but it's so much more convenient even for writing with permanent marker. I went through quite a few of those discs and can't remember having any bad ones. Thanks, Meritline!

It's been many a year using these probably have surpassed the 1000+ burn mark 10 f@#$% ups at the most using pioneer 115-D Verbetim......lol dont waste your money. These are it, cheap, no studdering skipping of any sorts. MEDIA OF THE GODZ!!!

I have used this media for several months now. A great product at a fair price. I use an Epson RX680 to print the covers. They always look great with the reitek surface.

We are on our second 1000. Only three (3) rejects so far. Print beautifully, we use Epson R280, R800 and an Epson CX 7400. We burn the disc to 4.02 GB full.

Of the 200 disks I purchased I had about 8% duds. This is sad because I have had better from Ritek.I used them in a stand alone duplicator as well as single burning on a Mac Pro. It cost me hours of time.

I've burned maybe 3k discs, with about 2k being RiDATA 16X. The only one that didn't burn was when I put two discs in the tray by accident. After I removed one, it burned perfectly, just like the rest.

Best price (on sale). Good item (better than No Hub - more space for print; Dry quickly after inkjet printing on disc, and high speed 16X but it don't fail when you burn it with this speed). Good shipping ( Free ground ship - Don't over a week ). But this advertising item is sold with limit quantity, and limit users.

Very good product for the money. I especially like the print surface on these disks. It is more of a gloss finish than other brands and it makes for a much sharper image on the label. So far my loss rate has been excellent. I haven't lost a single disk out of the first 60 or so. Reading and writing seem fine.

Only burned at 4x, until I updated the firmware on my burner.. The burner is a Pioneer 104D, so it's fairly old.. After the update they burn at 12x, which still isn't the 16x they are supposed to burn at, but I'm happy with 16x.. I haven't burned a coaster yet, and they print perfectly with my Epson Photo R200..

Excellent media for recording and for printing DVD labels. The Ritek Ridata DVD-R 16X White Inkjet Hub Printable DVDs are about the same cost as 8x DVDs (but the 16Xs are faster).

So far, not so good... These 16x only burn at 4x in my Pioneer 110 burner.. Only burned three, and already have one coaster.. And that was with my internal burner in my new iMac.. I've used Ritek DVDs before, with no problems, and they burned at the rated speed, but I wonder about these.. I wish I would have only bought a 50 pack..

These are without a doubt the best blank DVD's you can buy for the money. I have used over 2000 of these and have only had 2 questionable disks. The full white face is great if you want to print or just write with a marker (that's what I do). I recommend them to everyone.

Bought 200 discs, 50 defective, Ridata is aware they have a bad batch of product - look on the dye side of the discs for contaminations at the rim of the discs. They say they will replace, you pay freight one way. I threw mine away and won't use them again.

I've used over 6,000 of these Ritek disc and out of that i might have had 15 coasters, print surface is best on the market. The price is unbeatable, if you by from meretline, All's I have to say is Taiyo / Verbetum who?

As always the Ritek Disc are of very superb quality for the price. I do not think the higher priced ones are any better for whatever kind of media you plan on placing on them

I have purchased and used more than a 1000 of these Ritek Ridata media and only got two coaster..But only burn at 50% of the media sp eed to improve quality and prevent coaster...Highly recommended.

This will only write reliably at 8X on my Pioneer dvr109. The compatability chart does indicate it should only write at 12X but it leaves voids when writing at that spped. It does write well at 8X repeatedly!
