This player handles all kinds of discs and files very well. However, the microphones output is so low that I can barely hear the singing voice. I don't recommend buying it as a karaoke machine. Warren of tech support was very nice to talk to though.

Plays all disks. Decent audio adjustments. Can use higher quality mic if you want, but the ones included are fine for most of my drunk friends! I recommend this, especially if you always wanted one, but were scared to invest in one.

My experience with this product is very bad. This is more of a Video Player than a Karoke Player. When i connected the Microphone it started pickig up Raido channels. Also the Microphone does not work when you connect the speakers to some of the Ports provided. Also the RITEK support is not easy to reach. MERITLINE has nothing to do once the product is Shipped "THERE IS NO RETURN, ONLY REPLACEMENT from RITEK, if you have a extra $50, then please buy this product.

Love it!!! This is my second one, I purchased the first one for much more. I looked everywhere for this and even tried buying it from a marketplace that I never heard of... Had a first time bad experience, don't think I will buy from that site again. Like I said, this RJ Tech RJ4200 Karaoke and CDG player ROCKS!!! Plays karaoke DVDs and CD G superbly. I love the DVD karaokes because it can hold so, so much more than the CD G CDs. Plays both CD karaoke and DVD karaoke. I've got it connected to another set of output surround sound speaker and turn the volume on the music a lil lower, about 12-13 volume setting on the RJ Tech and turn the surround sound up a bit, for better voice/microphone outputs. I find this combination gives a better vocal sound. Excellent buy from Meritline.com. I love meritline and wished they had this in stock, but I'm very happy, one downstairs and one upstairs. The two microphones that comes with the RJ Tech is good, a lil low, so I recommend kinda c

The fist unit was defective, called manufacturer and trouble determined the unit needed to be sent back to Meritline. Customer service was great from manufacturer and Meritline. Defective unit had a problem with the microphone input, very, very low. The replacement was better, but I still think the unit has a problem with the overall range of the mic input. The price was right, we will see how things go. I would purchase again, but I am a little hesitant with the input range.
