Important:
Samsung has made these cartridges with a "lock-out" chip that will force your printer into not accepting a refilled cartridge because it "remembers" it as empty. While we are working on developing new chips that will override this "lock-out" mechanism, at this time the only way to use a refilled Samsung CLP310 / CLP315 is to REFILL IT BEFORE IT COMPLETELY EMPTIES. When the cartridge is getting low on toner, the printer will give you a message "Toner Low". That should be your prompt to refill it! Do not wait for it to say "Toner Empty" as it will have locked out by then. The number of refills you can get before it locks-out varies, we have tested it to work for between 1-3 refills before it will inevitably lock out and a new cartridge needs to be replaced.
