This is not an "Erector" set. It is a building set from China. I was expecting the Erector brand name.

Very complicated to assemble. There is a lot of parts to handle. Given the minimal instructions that comes with the box, its indeed an engineering feat to put this thing to-gether and even more difficult to keep it from falling apart ! So, if you want to take on an engineering challenge, go for it, else spend the money elsewhere

Cute, fun to play with, lousy instructions. Finally decided to wing it, doesn't look quite like the box but who cares, it seems to work.

well, it's an interesting/cute erector set knock off. Relatively easy to assemble (even w/o any real directions)... the packaging is classic "engrish" and I'd call it more of a "model" than a "toy." If anyone plans on playing with it, one must assemble with "lock-tite" or other brand of thread locker...as the nuts back off very easily and it's impossible to move it much w/o things loosening and eventually falling apart. But it is cheap and fun to assemble with a "young-un."
