Great idea! Quality of material and stitching is great. Sling carrying a camera is great alternative to carrying your camera, I'm able to carry it comfortably and be ready to shoot at anytime. Camera is secured via tripod screw mount. My initial concern is how secured this would be. No need to worry about dropping your expensive investment...once screwed on it stays on. The strap also has two movement limiter so that the camera won't swing up and down unintentionally while walking or moving fast. A small zippered pocket on the padded shoulder strap might carry lens cloth but that's about it. Another great buy from Meritline.

This strap works perfectly! As the other reviewer stated, stitching and build is excellent. Well worth the money. One little note is the threads are snug, not sure if it is a tolerance issue from quality control, but it will certainly not work itself loose. I am certainly going to recommend this to my friends, especially for the cost! It compares to a friend?s ?name brand? at 8X the price, this is a bargain!

the threads on the swivel connection would not thread into my Nikon D7000 so it is of no use to me.

Large strap allows you to wear across your chest and still comfortably hold the camera out in front of you without having to pull the strap off. Zippered pouch on the top of the shoulder pad is very convenient to store an extra battery and SD card. Strap has a swiveled screw-in tripod mount to secure the camera. Two plastic quick release clips on either side of the camera mount allow you to position stops to keep the camera in a particular portion of the strap. My only wish would be for the shoulder pad to have a rubberized friction surface on the underside to prevent the strap from sliding around. The plastic stop clips are not particularly useful when the weight of the camera causes the entire strap to rotate the pad off your shoulder. Regardless, this is an excellent strap for the price.

The strap itself is very nice. The screw that connects to the camera tripod mount is very poor quality. It's made of a cast metal where the mold was not aligned properly. The screw threads were slightly off between the halves. This will strip the treads on camera tripod mount. I ended up ordering an EzFoto Stainless Steel Screw from Am'zn. I trust this screw much more than the molded cast metal one.

What an awesome strap. I use the black rapid strap I paid $85 for and this is just as good. I bought this for a friend but looks like I might need to get one for myself. Can't go worng for $12
